Sephora Atomizer - Volume Testing

I got my Sephora Atomizers in. The box it came in says the capacity is 3mL of liquid. But that in inaccurate. It can hold about 5mL of liquid. I filled an empty togo bottle and kept on pouring the liquid back and forth between the togo bottle and the sephora bottle. The amount of liquid each container can hold was about the same.

With that volume of water I was working with, the togo bottle gave me 40 sprays and the sephora bottle gave me 38 sprays. (Same volume of water.)

Therefore the amount of volume per spray with the Sephora Atomizer is very slightly more than a togo bottle but slightly less than an androtics regular bottle.

The Sephora Atomizer provided a very fine mist which was nice. But don’t expect a different volume of liquid to come out.

I was hoping that the sephora atomizer would have a much smaller spray volume because I wanted to be able to more evenly distribute My Instant Jerk applications. But the volume per spray is about the same so that purpose is gone. But the sephora has a much finer spray so it is still very nice.

Instant Jerk works best for me with Just 1 spray. I want to start doing 1/2 spray to my throat and 1/2 spray to my mid section because I just don’t like 12.5 mcg of none being on one part of body.

I might dilute the Instant Jerk with perfumer’s oil or cut it with another product.

The bullet holds about 3ml while the lipstick holds about 5ml. Both have a finer mist spray than the togo. The togo kinda pukes on you. The bullet has a little lower volume spray vs the lipstick.

The head is sensitive enough you can do a lighter “half” plunge and get a significantly lower volume mist/spray. I’ve been using them for 5 or 6 years and they never seem to wear out or leak.

Attached is the one I got. I guess the sliver bullet one is the one I really wanted. I don’t see the silver bullet one in the online store. Maybe I’ll have to visit a sephora store this weekend to get it.
