In the Middle East and in India . Musk Ghazelle is made by every differnt house each with their own recipe. Some are totally synthetic and other are mixtures and some are pure or very close to it. Ajmal Musk Ghazelle is a very good example. It is dark in color almost black. It’s scent is slightly animalic, powdery, musky and powerful. It is not femine but also not masculine though most women in the west would not wear it. It is not Unisex either. Most people may say that it is masculine but when my wife applies it to her hair and it is just amazing.

Yes I have all of Agarscents Musks. Musk Ghazelle, Red Musk, White Musk, Kashmiri Kasturi and Dehn Black Musk. His Musk Ghazelle is clear and is a synthetic white musk mixed with rose and sandalwood. Its nice though.
I just recently became an agarscents customer. Which product is your favorite? I just ordered the black musk with oudh, after sampling it from my last order. Its my favorite scent to wear as of now.
I’ve been told that red musk is the only musk that surpasses Ajmal Musk Ghazelle (which i wish I could get a hold of). is $420 worth the price?
Dr Fedora I have a nice suprize for you. I just recently recieved 250 ml of Ajamal’s new Musk Ghazelle as their older one has been discontinued but it can still be found in some shops in Dubai. I got mine from the Ajmal shop in the Hilton in Madinah , Saudi Arabia. The suprize is this, it is the same as Agarscents Indian Red Musk, yes the $420 one which I own myself. I am still flabergasted by this as I recieved it only 2 days ago. It is possible I have found one of Agarscents suppliers in Madinah which I hear has some or Ajmal has come out with a true gem. They have given it the tittle AA Indian Musk Ghazelle and the rep. at Ajmal assured my sipplier that it is pure. Anyway if you have any intrest please let me know. I can send a drop of two of Agarscents Red Indian Musk along as well and you can compare them. My prices are as follows 3ml $35, 6ml $65, 12ml $120.
Anyway regarding Agarscents Musks then besides the Red Indian Musk then I prefer the Kashmiri Kasturi which is Deer Musk from Kashmir. It is a little less in the animalic notes and softer but it is very pleasent. For women i would suggest the Musk Ghazelle Deer which is clear and crisp with notes of Rose and Sandalwood. Also the Taifi Ambergris is very nice for women as well which is a blend of the legendary Taifi Rose and the Ambergris White.
Are these musks for men only, or can women wear them also? I have been following this thread, and am intrigued 
Deer Musk is particularly nice on women. Dont think of it as a floral light femine perfume but think of it like the smell of your patners hair when you get close or their particular body scent that you could pick them out of a crowd just by smelling them. No it dosnt smell like hair rather it has very nice aroma but not what is traditionally feminine in the west. When my wife wears it in her hair I go gaga. It has a definate animal smell to it and some type of sharp spice note that can only realy be called a musk note. After time it softens into something slightly animaly and slightly powdery. It is very nice and unique. One drop is enough for all day. Make sure it is real musk or contains some real musk or it will be missing the animal note.

I don’t like sweet floral scents anyway, I like them a bit deeper and more mysterious, and not too loud or stinky.
