To date, exploration of mones has focused on naturally-occurring compounds or analogues. Tac has raised the possibility that some of the putatives we have been exploring might in actuality be novel synthetics that stimulate multiple target receptors. I wonder what new creations one might be able to imagine that might have an interesting, potentially fun impact?
A little late for a reply I guess, but I like the idea… Has anyone tried contacting Sasha about pheros? I wonder what he’d say? He is a master chemist, and we all know how much he is into playing with emotional response

I’d be willing to bet there are a few of us on the bus 'round here. It’s all just a big experiment in psychology… whether you’re talking about pheros, E, or special K for that matter… we’re all just trying to push that envelope of reality into a brave new world. With Shulgins research and psychadelic chemicals you can delve into the roots of conscious behavior, and with pheros you are tweaking the subtleties of unconscious behavior. Walk the edge, it’s the most beautiful and pristine because it is the least traveled… some fear it, and some fall over it… those of us with good balance can stay here and enjoy the purity of the experience for a long time to come. Just be careful not to lose sight of the fundamental idea that it is an experiment, and don’t let your subjective experiences overshadow the objectivity of the research.

Am I glad to see the words ‘‘psychonaut’’ and ‘‘Sasha’’ here!
I’m hopeful a chemist would pick this up and look at the similarities between the aromatic Shulgin compounds (taken in vivo) and the aromatic pheromone compounds and the legality of Shulgin’s latest compounds - for example what if there were modifications to optimise by-proxy nasal delivery (as per pheromones) - the DEA crackdown wouldn’t apply here.
There’s PUA world…pheros…TAs (Tihkal) and PEAs (Pihkal), psychedelics generally…and spirituality/philosophy…and so on…- its amazing how tightly some perspectives are interwoven.
For instance, there is the conscious… and what Sartre refers to as the collective unconscious…how about pheros which explore this specifically?
Has anyone thought about looking at TA-phero combos, (from a spiritual angle, say) and PEA-phero combos (sexual angle cf. pickup) ?
