omg.. eww. i cant believe it happened to you! thats just downright wrong! whenever the maintenance staff walks into my building, they always knock. wait a while then knocks again before they enter. also they never EVER a black shirt.
at least ur dad beat the janitor up, he deserves it!
The guy is sick. He needs to be far away from women. I do not know what mechanisms Canada has for something like that or even if your dad can pursue it now that he has busted the janitor’s nose.
But in a perfect world he could report it to the police and mention the rent check offer. That is usually illegal … pandering or soliciting or some such thing.
No kidding given dad’s temper. Next time something bad like that happens tell mom or dad right away. Maybe filter it through Mom although she might not be able to curb your Dad’s anger either. This guy was way out there and something could have happened between the time he let himself into the apartment and when you told your parents. I know you are an adult now but that does not mean you have to or should try to handle potentially dangerous situations like that by yourself.
I wish my dad didn’t beat the janitor up too much though, he’s too strong (the man does cardio and weights every single eff’n day) so yea, I wouldn’t want to get beaten up by some guy like that.
He broke his nose so far, hopefully it’s something fixable.
sigh I’m sure my dad will get him real good legally too. He was whispering about it to my mom. Couldn’t hear much of his plans though.
I never tell my mom actually, cause then she starts blaming it on me so my dad wouldn’t deal with the mess. She right about it though, she doesn’t want her hubby to get in trouble. And I don’t want to get him in trouble either, but I hate being blamed for no reason. So I tell my dad, and the problem is resolved… wish he could talk things out too.
I know, I didn’t ever want to tell it. But blah, I guess honesty is the best policy, even if someone broke and bled through their nose lol
Yes, I was certainly, trying to act older and mature, didn’t seem to work out the way it should. deep breath I’ll keep trying though sigh
I think dad scared everyone. I bet the guys in my appartment are scared to talk to me from now on…Gee, being Hulk Hogan‘s daughter sucks sometimes.
Now, last night, the full implications of what you posted didn’t totally register in my sleepy, already empty head.
Holy freakin’ crap! (((((Selva))))) So glad you made it out alright! What a completely gross, creepy man!
Very, very glad to hear that your father gave that creep what he deserves… hopefully he will learn his lesson.
Don’t feel bad about causing all of the “drama,” Selva… think of it this way: if you hadn’t come forward, who knows what might have happened to the next girl he set his beady little eyes on? You had very quick thinking, and were able to wait it out in a safe area until you had protection at home. Someone else might not be so fortunate
Hahaha, same here, Tealeaves. I’ve been reading too many forensic novels lately.
Selva, what freaks choose to do is never your fault. You could run down the sidewalk nakey wearing a whole bottle of EoW and no one (except maybe the police officer arresting you for doing it) would have the right to touch you without your say so.
Aww thank you kitten and tealeaves. I was feeling so guilty about eow today, that I buried it under my mom’s little jasmine tree lol. I’m so tempted to dig it back out lol
You ain’t the only one who thought of that girls! My eyes just bulged out and my heart beat rate increased so fast, while I was watching him wash his hands, he wouldn’t answer me too.
Yea, I was like shit too, I was like “please lord, please don’t bring the janitor to you! He HAS to live!!!”.
Maybe my dad washed his hands since he broke his nose (and maybe it bled?) Sorry too much info. But it’s likely.
It’s good that you spoke up, that man was definitely creepy. As for your dad breaking his nose, don’t worry. The man deserved it and don’t ever imagine it’s your fault. You may have been wearing EOW but you weren’t the one that made the guy do this. He’s a sicko and needed to be stopped.
You are lucky to have a protective dad, even though it may seem over the top. There are many ladies/girls who would have needed protected by their dads in this way and didn’t have the luck.
Again, don’t blame yourself. You did the right thing!! The guy might be out of a job (and a nose) but you may have prevented a serious crime from happening one day.
Now, perhaps you’ll have the jasmine propositioning you
The ladies are right. What he did was not your fault no matter how much EoW or anything else you were wearing. Do not blame yourself. He and he alone was responsible for his actions. Remember these products do cause anyone to do anything or rob anyone of their freewill. How many women wear this stuff around their TG and get … nothing? Ignored?
This guy was just a disaster waiting to happen. Again I am glad you thought fast when it did and retreated to the church rather than try to confront or talk to him in your apartment. And dad did what dads have dones for centuries when someone messed with their kids. Messed back. Sometimes we do that … and I too am glad he did no serious damage.
Be sure to give Dad a big hug. Go back to having fun. Remember you don’t have to handle scary situations like that on your own.
Yeah, Pheromones or no pheromones girls will unfortuantly always be vunerable to guys like that.
msselva you keep using words I don’t know lol. I’ve never heard the word Janitor before in my life, had to look it up (thank god for Wikipedia). Apparantly in England we call them caretakers or porters.
I’m Sorry! :o I’m canadian, but I don’t know if it makes a difference!
We use janitor as a term for “a person who takes care of a building, such as a school, office building, or apartment block. Janitors are responsible primarily for cleaning, and often (though not always) some maintenance and security.” (Works cited: Wikipedia)
Edit: omg, I’m so retarded, you mentioned that you looked it up in wikipedia already, and I probably gave you the same quote you read.
If I were manly and macho I might have an answer …
Actually it sounds more social/familial/personal. The Indian families I see here never hug or have any public displays of affection. Not sure how it is at home. I know PDAs are almost taboo in India - look what happened when Richard Gere hugged that female Indian actress on stage and gave her a little peck …
Or … could be your age. You are a woman now and it may not be appropriate in his mind. Maybe just ask him to and say it is OK - you are still his little girl no matter how old you are and you miss the hugs. If that does not melt a dad’s heart - especailly the manly, macho kind - I don’t know what will.
Me - I’ll take hugs from my kids or any of their friends any day and give them a big hug back too. But that happens when you more like Alan Alda … lol. (Tears, sniffling)
Wish my dad could give me a big bear hug sigh like you mentioned it’s probably the indian thing. Dad has never even kissed mom in public, unless ma mom pulls him over and kisses him LOL.
I felt bad for Shilpa Shetty (that was the indian lady he kissed) she has to apologize publically, and me/mom/sister was like WTH!!! that’s so weird. Lol, it’s her decision…so I don’t know why others are so pissed about it…Indian people do care about what others think of them I guess. But my dad was more like “she deserves it!!!”
Yes. I know. I’m going to be in hot water in the future. I’m preparing for it lol
LOL! I’ll try that trick
Aww, don’t feel bad! I’ll give you a big fat grizzly hug
I love Shilpa Shetty. I felt bad for her when she was bullied by 3 horrible english girls on big brother here in the UK. Spent about 3 quid voting for her in the final, glad she won.
