state Transference & Pheromones

In the Pickup Community, there is the concept of “state Transference”. The idea is that if you are feeling good, women nearby will pick up on these feelings and feel good too. If you are feeling nervous, women around you will pick up on these feelings and feel uncomfortable around you.

Could this concept of state transference be pheromone based to some degree? Is it possible that our bodies produce TAA naturally when we are feeling good? Could having a happy moment produce more TAA than 1 spray of 4X Instant Shine?

Are we kind of cheating when we spray Instant Shine on ourselves to make people around us think we are in a good mood if we are not?

Is spraying Instant Shine on ourselves and getting the self effects similar to hanging out with a happy person in a good mood? Perhaps we like to hang out with positive people because of an addiction to natural TAA?

Nope, it is never this simple. If you’re feeling nervous, fearful or depressed, wearing TAA or IS usually doesn’t change that unfortunate state. Whenever I’ve worn mones while in a negative state, the mones seem to make it worse. And it’s more than noncongruence. It think many mones actually enhance and bring out the negative as well as positive attributes. More so than your “natural” sate, a mone user needs to be completely in control of his emotions and persona.

You didn’t directly address the concept that I’m curious about. But if I understand your response correctly, you do not believe that our moods or mental state affect our natural pheromone output?

That’s not what I wrote. I said our emotional state and persona impact the effectiveness of artificial mones such as TAA, IS and TUTH. Wearing mones doesn’t change your state of mind or cover it up. It brings it out.

Mones themselves are context sensitive and don’t have an exact meaning outside of a social context. Androstenone can evoke fear, aggression, sexuality, masculinity, femininity or BO depending on the social context. I’m positive our general emotional state–fear, happiness, depression–is communicated via a combination of facial expressions, body language, words and mones. Mones in and of themselves have no meaning.

I’ve had to spend a lot of time on video conferencing at work and “state transference” works without mones, so it is a product of several mechanisms at least.

I can agree with that. I’ve noticed that some people here claim that Instant Shine boosts their own mood but I’m guessing the affects are very subtle. Instant Shine doesn’t alter my mood but I’ve never gotten many self effects from pheromones except maybe a slightly greater awareness of my surroundings with a large does of -none and possibly some anxiety with a large dose of P83.

That makes sense. If you have experienced this “state transference” concept over video conferencing, that indicates that pheromones don’t play a major role in general for that. But that leaves open the possibility that pheromones may play a minor role.

This makes sense to me too. But I have experienced people reacting to me differently with some pheromone combinations than without any pheromones at all. Sometimes the affects are pretty drastic and not subtle. My conclusion is that in some situations pheromones can have a very profound effect on the vibe we communicate to others. Of course the baseline is our personality and if we are coming across poorly to begin with mones probably won’t help.

I would love to know if the mood we are in affects the natural pheromones our bodies produce. But I don’t think anyone really has studied this before. I’m really curious about this though.
