OMG! Wouldn’t they just rather kill babies and get their stemcells?

Have heard some really promising results with the stem cell treatments, personally I am talking to a doctor over in Malaysia and looking at traveling over very soon to get some treatments on my buggered knees.
Looks like a better option than the total knee replacement that the doctors here in Australia are offering.

I would be very careful and do some additional research. There are just as many opposing views as supporting. Personally I would work on nutrition before I started anything like that, but that’s me. Whatever you do I hope and wish the best for you

Cheers Steve, I have done quiet a bit of research into it and although it is fairly new and there are conflicting sides, it is something that I am willing to take the chance on. As I said previously the specialists here in Australia, where stem cell treatments are not yet approved for humans have all said that the next step is full knee replacements and they have also told me to put up with the pain and discomfort for as long as possible because of the life span of the replacement (think they are more suited to the elderly person with reduced activity levels) I have spoken in length with my local doctors, they also have heard some great results from the studies overseas and have supported my decision. Have even been working with me and the surgeon in Malaysia to get a lot of test done here and sent over to reduce the multiple trips back a forth.

So at this point the way I am looking at it, granted it is going to cost a fair bit to travel and get the procedure done but they can not damage the knees anymore than they are now, it is a reputable clinic so there should be little risk of complications and the stem cell will be removed from me and injected back into me so there is little chance of rejection or complications there! So if it works and brings me some relief GREAT, if it does not work I am in the same position I am now, putting up with everything until I cant stand it no more and get the replacements done.

I think that it is a fact of life that you will never get all people to agree on the 1 subject, which I feel is good because it does drive research and development - just look at the opposing sides on Pheromone use and effectiveness! Most people here on this forum would swear by it, but there a lot out there that swear it nothing but a waste of money!
