strong perfume & pheromones

HELLO

Has anyone used a pheromone and strooong perfume mix. i did. and i must say i wore it to work YES TO WORK and my co-workers were not pleased well a couple of them anyway. but to me the perfume smell pretty good.

so my boss had a talk with me about my perfume to loud. :frowning::open_mouth: . maybe i put on tooooo much but to me it does’nt smell that strong i don’t know  may be i made a bad concotion. but onthe other hand i notice people stand within my area of space. any suggestions please. thanks

the scent neroli fades quite a bit after a while, so what did you mix it with?

i think the purpose behind scenting them here at Androtics isnt only the sillage aspect, but that they are scented only as much as need be;
any more stuffs up the nose and makes pheromone tracking impossible. without scent your less likely to take that long inhale.

i personally cant handle strong perfumes because i cant smell anything after for a long time, but very light ones can even raise my spirits.

what was your perfume of choice?

I think perfume can be very seductive if you wear just enough to make people want to come closer to smell you. If they can smell you down the hall, then they have no motivation to move in closer  and in fact, it can act like a force field to keep some people at a distance! :o

There’s this phenomenon, too, where if you apply just a little perfume, you can smell it all day because it doesn’t overwhelm your nose, whereas if you apply it over a larger area, olfactory fatigue kicks in and you can’t even smell it anymore … but everybody else can!

Possibly the amount of perfume you wore would usually be fine on you, but something about the pheromones made it come across “bigger” than usual?

as a freind of mine once said…your scent should suggest your presence, never announce it.

Was it a perfume you’ve never worn before? I mention this because it the late 80’s when CHristian Dior Poison was popular, I thought it smelled great when my roommate wore it, that I went out and bought a bottle (at a point in my life when this was a major purchase for me, no less). It smelled horrible on me. . .I can’t remember the exact smell (maybe I’ve repressed the memory) but I want to say . . Rotten fruit? :stuck_out_tongue: :frowning: My boss called me into her office and gave me a not-so-subtle lecture about perfume and how it affects your co-workers, be more considerate, blah blah blah.

Maybe it was just your body chemistry reacting to the perfume? The neroli smells strong to me at first, but then dries done to just about nothing.

yes my perfume was a new mixture that i created and my boyfriend, my brother ,my son said it’s strooooong. but to me it smells pleasent .

so let me be fair and tell you how much i wore. i put it in my hair, my body my clothes, my pants. wazs that over kill ? now remember i have eow in my mix. so i diluted it 50/50 with ethanol alcohol because it is pure essential oils which are jasmine, ylang ylang, rosewood, and musk. so what could be the problem and get this i applied it once at 5’oclock this morning and it was a little after 8’oclock this morning when the boss called me to his office sooooooooo.

i know this has a potential to be a great scent maybe it is just toooooooo concentrated i don’t know? i’m trying this is the only perfume that is well, disappoining. but i don’t like watered down scents. at all

50% dilution is quite concentrated, and applications to hair and fabric will make the top notes persist longer than they would on skin. Most of us find that Essence of Woman is more pleasant when it’s applied neat by itself and allowed to dry down for 10 minutes before applying a cover scent; otherwise it may take a very long time to achieve that drydown transformation (if ever).

From your description it’s hard to know how much perfume you applied, how many drops or sprays … with a perfume at 50% concentration I’d probably apply no more than 3 drops total or 1 spray if I’m going to be in an office setting; possibly twice that much in a freer social setting.

when i said that i diluted the mix it was the perfume it self that i diluted down to get that strong stinch out. and i did’nt apply the perfume in drops . it’s in a roll -on applicator. so i rolled away ( well maybe a little too much) but to me it smells fine. so it’s hard for me to detirmine if it’s to strong or not (well for others anyway)maybe i need to throw it all out and start over i might not can save it. (my loss)

the funny thing is the women complain about the scent even when it’s dried down (hrs) and my boyfriend said the scent was loud earlier but at noon it was just flowey. (now that’s confusing).

Perhaps you can save it with additional dilution??

yeh but, will adding more alcohol decrease my pheromone compound as well see? would ihave to add more pheromoes to the mix. (i’m thinking not since i added (500mgs) of raw pheromone to 250 mls of perfume

now since i added more alcohol in my mix and clove bud essential oil i have the scent of curve crush going on. and the stinch is gone (thank god.) and it also reminds you of soft soaps shea butter body wash.

it had a still sour note that when i added clove bud oil to it . it did a way with the sour / bo note i had at first.( and just think the other day i was going to throw that oil away. ( clove bud oil has a spicy, warm, musky, note) to those who never smelt it.
