Good you have decided on getting out and mingling - Its not good to dwell on failed relationsgips and this will help you get your head and priorities straight, also you may well meet someone better.
To this end and as you are only 21, a small amount of Ammo, a well balanced socail/sexual/confidence boosting mix, and the social pheros Instant Shine, IO, IG and IH will probably be your best friends:
IS - Gives a happy and good to be around feel to you and those around you.
IO - Promotes flowing conversation. IO and IS are both great icebreaker pheros.
IG - gives a light suave/status effect that helps make you stand out in the crowd.

For your ex, well if it is worth it, pheros can help.
