SXSW is so FUCKING AMAZING!!!!

SXSW = South By South West, and is a 1 week long event, full of films, interviews with big and/or famous people, and bands. It is centered in Austin, Texas, and people all around the world, such as from UK, Australia, Germany, and Brasil to Austin, Texas. Lots of small time bands, and also very popular and well known bands come here to play tons of good music, there are lots of parties going on at clubs, bars, and other events. Ok so now to my experience at SXSW :wink:…

I have been working and partying non-stop for the past 2-3 days. I have lived in Austin, Texas for about 7 yrs. but this has been my first year for SXSW. Lame, I know haha. :o Recently I wore 2 drops of A314, 2 sprays of IG, 2 sprays of TUTH, 4 sprays of IO, and 2 sprays of IH. My job is located downtown, so after work I was within walking distance to a place called Auditorium Shores, which had the groups Cannanibals, Erika Badu (sp?), and Explosions in the sky. There was also about 30 mins. of non-stop fireworks afterwords, and was the best firework show I have ever seen in my life thus far.

I am outgoing naturally so I talked to a lot of hot random chicks, most of which were from UT and some out of state :smiley:, and a few guys as well whom were with some of the girls I was talking to. All the girls and guys I talked to (mostly girls :stuck_out_tongue:), were really nice, kickass, and just fun to talk to. Wow, that combination of phermones I used produced one of the best results I have ever seen. I was given free energy drinks under the table and told not to tell anyone else, and that “it was a special offer just for me”. I don’t want to brag, but I am very convincing, persuasive, and very good at talking to people, and establish good repoire etc. I was also able to get into clubs for free, whereas other people paid $15, and the doorman told the cashier girl that I was his friend so that “it was ok for me to get in for free”. I was given free sodas, and other stuff. I am so glad I went to SXSW, and plan to go for the entire week next year. WOOT, what a blast!

Anyways Erika Badu rawks, I know my friends Dawn over zero and Chrome44 killed it..they were on tour a while back. Glad you had a good time.

I bought this cool light up sword at Auditorium Shores for $5. It looks a little nerdy, but it has cool flashing lights, and is actually quite kick ass. It is definately an excellent peacocking piece. I went to one club where there were 8 hot girls in a group all by themselves with no guy with them. Perfect opportunity for talking and flirty fun right? :wink: I went casually by the group and caught a few glancing at me. I quickly looked over each girl, then found my spot about 10 feet away from them purposely and listened to the band play. About 1 minute later 1 of the girls in that group walked over to me, asked me a few questions, and mentioned I hada cool light-up sword, and asked me where I got it, etc. etc. We talked for a couple more mins, then I drifted over to the entire group and talked to each individual girl and they all seemed to like me and get a kick out of me :smiley:. They left about 20 mins afterwards because they were all from out of state, besides 2 girls, but they all left because they didn’t enjoy the music too much. I was going to ask for one of the girls’ numbers but she was talking to one of her friends about something important so I didn’t get the chance to :frowning:. Overall I loved it. I talked to many hot bartenders, other hot girls, and flirted tons and had tons of fun.

End note:

That sword is such a chick magnet. Everyone loves it and is drawn to it. Almost nobody has one, so it is very unique, but tons of people have seen them around because they were at the huge Auditorium Shores event and/or just seen the spare few carrying them around downtown. I even had a homeless guy try to buy it from me for $5 ROFL, and said he was broke. I said “no sorry, not gonna happen” and walked off.

You should man…If you come next year from UK, you can chill at my place for the entire week. :wink: I’ll go for the entire week next year with at least a wristband, if not a badge.

Lol, right on. You can buy a badge for $550 if you buy early. $850 for platinum which is all music, films, and interviews, but $550 for the music badge, or $550 for the film, and interview badge w/o the music.

I had bartenders flirting with me, just random girls I happened to meet at different bars, clubs and outside shows/events, and they were all hot and loved flirting and talking with me. It’s an experience of a life time. I got tons of free stuff it’s insane, just for me being me, plus my pheromones and my peacocking sword did the trick. A little bit of banter, and negotiating doesn’t hurt either. :smiley:

Fuck yeah man. $550 would be no sweat for me by next year. It’ll very well be worth it. You get to enter tons of special parties, exclusive bars and clubs that other people can’t enter, and get tons of free drinks and pay no cover fee.

This one guy is so retarded. He had no badge or wristband. He told me he spent well over $600 on drinks and cover fees. I didn’t comment on his stupidity. I just said “right on”, and walked off.

This is the sweet peacocking light-up sword I’ve been talking about. It was a little hard to get a good picture of it, because the lights flash really fast, but this is the best one I was able to take. It is really quite special in the ability to draw chicks in, like metal to a magnet.

Some other famous bands and individuals that came that I forgot to mention were Metallica, Kanye West, Third Eye Blind, Shiny Toy Guns, Oakridge Boys, Carlene Carter, and many more.

That blue light is very similar to the circles you see when cameras point close to the sun. They are some sort of solar enigma that can’t be caught by the naked eye.

Of course in this situation it isn’t solar. I forget what the circles are called…

Its called a lens flare we don’t see them cos the lens we look through is in our eyeballs so it you wear glasses I believe you can see the flare. (however don’t hold me to that!)
