I was just quite curious as I am a current user of Nootropics ( Smart Drugs) in particular, is there anything risky when taking both Nootropics and Pheromones just that the Racetams affect the Cognitive side of the brain.
I know that there will be a ban in the UK on April 5/6th on Nootropics so was just curious about the possible adverse effects that could happen.
There have been several active co-Nootropics users here over the years and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bad word about any phero combination from any of them.
Interesting, I maybe thought it could work to the users advantage as the ones I do use enhance my focus and alertness but I also thought at the same time it could have a negative impact?
They seem to work in radically different ways, which I suppose limits the chances of interaction - positive or negative, so that’s maybe why there has been so little reported.
That’s not to say that they couldn’t be complementary or contradictory but as both work at pretty subtle levels, it would probably take considerable testing to discern?
I guess the only real way to find out is to test it out for myself, will probably try it once I have gotten used to the pheromones that work best for me.
My theory, based on personal experiences and knowledge about pharmacology (just placed my order but will be able to report on this later):
Whereas nootropics may increase your cognitive ability, I believe pheromones work differently and I don’t think they’d necessarily “interfere” – my guess is that they might be able to swing your attention and perception as they affect your overall mood. So… I don’t think there are any adverse reactions to worry about, just be mindful of where your cognition goes
I would speculate, based on theory, that one might see more self-effects. Nootropics can increase nerve cells activity and efficiency, and pheromones need a nervous system response.
That said, I’d expect any effects to be very subtle.
There are a few nootropics like Hydergene that are LSD analogs and I’ve had some very strange olfactory effects from psychedelics.
On a side note (not sure whether related or not) low doses of DMT/psilocybin can actually increase sensory acuity… and sex drive. I have yet to make a comprehensible connection.
