Not necessarily.
TAL tends to build a better rapport with women…almost makes you one of the girls. Definitely a female type pheromones, but awesome as far as socially positioning yourself with women. Its pretty cool having groups of women crowd around you.
dienone is more of a mood elevator. Women will feel more ‘into you’, and will feel better around you. Has much more of an attraction element that TAL. TAL leaves me questioning if theres any real attraction behind it at all. If it weren’t for the negative effects dienone has on me, I would prefer it over TAL
Dienone is definitely more personable than TAL, however, TAL seems to work well on groups of women.
I have not had a lot of success with TAL but I have had some really good results with A1. Besides if you are looking for love becoming a best friend is a pretty awkward spot to work from .
Main problem with -dienone is it does tend to make many guys feel bad around it. Often when I wear -dienone for example, it seems to put negative thoughts into my head and sap my energy, not to mention a decrease in verbal ability and confidence levels I’ve noticed on occassion. It is probably best used only occassionally for this reason. I like to use it really when a girl that I am seeing is particularly moody or where there is some kind of tension between me and a woman. In these situations, it clears the air like nothing else - ‘Instant Female Magic’ is indeed an appropriate name for the mainline product based on this pheromone!
As for TAL, it may be a useful addition (in small quantities) to a masculine mix as it can slighly raise a woman’s confidence level/expressiveness. Too much TAL (without a male pheromone counterbalance) and it seems to hinder attraction though - a big problem IMHO. Some good posts dealing with TAL are pasted in below…

Androstadienone really is magic with women, but I’d love to find something that works in the place it.
P74 is a very buddybuddy, feel good pheromone for just about everyone it seems. At least on me.
How about P74 with a little TAL? Seems like it’d have a lot of positives of dienone without the negatives on men. Cool dude effect + female rapport = dienone alternative? Maybe a little TAH or TAA to round out the effect?
Was wearing TAL + MX149 + P79 last Friday night, ended up at a bachelorette party that was winding down, long story how I ended up there. Did not know any of the women celebrating, all friends of friends. The hostess sat down next to me and was DIHL big time! We started talking, she tells me she is going to break up w/ her boyfriend of 7 years, who lives at the house we are in with her. She tells me she wants to take me on a tour of her place and we end up on the roof of a SF downtown high rise 360 degree view of SF, GG Bridge Bay Bridge Alcatraz and all in between! Her and I on the roof and she is just looking at me w/ puppy dog eyes, I was a little drunk! as it was almost 4-5am at this point and I was a little shocked at the whole situation.
Anyways we leave the roof and get into this really deep conversation back into the party, it was like no one else was there at all. We were in are own little world.

It was so subtle though, need to continually look out for the subtleties of these products, I forget I’m wearing them and then Bam! It was Like we have known each other for years, we talked about some real deep human experience stuff, I’m still a little blown away.
Oh BTW she was an American Born Chinese, not that it matters, but there seems to be a discussion regarding race and reactions on a couple of threads.

I think that’s just how we think about it. We often don’t think much of something at the time, no matter how amazing it is. Then we tell a friend, they’re blown away. Sometimes pheromones really do some big things, even though it may take us awhile to realize just how big it is.

You think that has something to do with MX149? That’s Androsterone based, right? I’ve read that Androsterone is sometimes better with Asians, since it’s more of a provider signal.

I think it has to do with some of the synthetic or MY OWN pheromones the next day. I wash my clothes and myself extra well (not the armpits so much) to help keep the slate clear a little more than I did pre-pheromone. This seems to help keep things consistent.
TAL can be unpredictable… one of the most context dependent pheromones I’ve used… it seems to “deprogram” some social filters that women learn unconsciously… in one evening I saw some older lesbians act so bossy and excessively assertive around a strong TAL cloud, like there was some dominance thing they felt they HAD to express, although there was a guy there acting like a brainless douchbag, and the two dykes were fed up with him and let him have it between the eyes… poor clod didn’t see it coming… then another attractive girl I knew from another situation blew off a much younger guy who was fascinated with her and wanted to go get sushi with me, so we went for ramen and fish, and she’s hanging out with me like a chick friend, not like I’m a guy, very sprawled out, legs spread open, totally unconscious of man-woman dynamics in the usual ways, getting herself a little smashed on medium quality sake… I don’t think it has much sexuousness one way or the other… it’s like one of those single malt scotches that advertise as a hang out and buzz drink…
