On your pulse points, such as inside of wrists, behind ears. I even apply to my temples. Other good areas include the chest, back of neck, inside of elbows and throat.
It also depends on what you are applying and your purpose. For example, it may be better to apply IS on your chest/face area so you can smell it easier, and also Instant Female Magic on the back of your neck (for those who may get depressed easily). Also, Instant Openness and Instant Honesty work great on the arms/hands if you speak alot moving your hands… For your question regarding Ammo, It also depends on how fast the exposure you want for your targets. eg. Chest is covered and will need a closer proximity, whereas hands/arms/neck are uncovered reducing the need for closer contact and also diffusing easier.
