The Blood Type / Pheromone Connection?

Dr. D’Adamo (along with his father) have linked together diet and blood type, because blood type is probably the world’s simplest indicator of your genetic type. I’ve seen more positive feedback on this diet than any other – maybe 90%. It’s a powerful idea.

Pheromone users have for years noticed a strong correlation between pheromones and genetic type, but nobody has really brought blood type into the equation.

I’m now doing so.

Call it “Pheromone Right For Your Blood Type” (PR4YT), if you will.

I think it makes a heck of a lot of sense.

We also implemented a Blood Type field in your user profile. Please fill it in.

I’m an O, I think an O negative. So far, to me, it looks like O’s emit a lot of androstenone naturally.

What are you?

Well I’m female and O+ (I know for sure).

This is very intriguing. I never read the bloodtype or bodytype link diet books. I lost all my weight (and kept it off) by banning certain foods (refined white carbs + anything fried + anything sugary + anything too fatty) and by increasing the daily amount of calories burnt. Cardio and strength training 3 to 6 times a week depending on my work load.

So I’m keenly interested in this new idea.

So if O’s emit alot of none naturally, would that be your explanation for the fact that I do not seem to be able to wear none without negative side-effects? Or would it be a function of the recipient/target?

LOL I feel like I have a private consultation with an expert here. :stuck_out_tongue: Until more folks join the group.

Hey now, I’m not an “expert”. I just know what I know.

I think in your statement, I sensed a compliment… So thank you! I really appreciate that.

Semantics-wise, though, I like think of myself as more of a problem solver or “go to” guy than an “expert”, per se. Someone who can get things done. I’ve found this to be a a very empowering way to view yourself - that way, you learn whatever is necessary to achieve a certain goal.

Just an aside.

Now, I think Dr. D’Adamo’s blood type mostly came from his father’s much more serious, less “pop psychology” type research. I forget exactly what profession his dad is, but I remember it involving some serious research genetic and blood type research. I remember being quite surprised. In any case, Dr. A’Adamo did stand on the shoulds of giants to create his diet theory.

There are actually over 400 blood subtypes known by the American Red Cross, and then there are systems that has nothing to do the ABO designations whatsoever. Fact is, the simple A, B, O, AB system doesn’t fully describe us. All it is is a (HIGHLY USEFUL!!) simplification of a very complex, technical subject. Even though it’s a simplification, you’d be surprised don’t even know their basic type.

The diet seems to work for most people, more than 90%, but doesn’t necessarily seem to apply to everyone. Not all O’s are exactly the same as other O’s obviously - all generalizations fall apart somewhere.

I think we’ll find the same thing for pheromones as we collect blood types and pheromone effect correlations… more than a 90% success ratio, but not perfection.

It’s useful just like Newtonian physics is often easier than using relativity to figure out a problem, and “good enough” - it works, even though it’s not perfect. I think even Einsteinian relativity has been disproven now, and replaced with better tools… but is it useless? No!

Bottom line - will applying blood typing to pheromone signature profiles take us further than we’ve been? I think the answer to that is a big, fat ‘definitely!’

Diet-wise, you’ll be pleased to know that pretty much found out what the O diet is the hard way!

That actually puts you in the same boat as me… so, hello! Yup, over the ears, after playing with my diet, I eventually found many similar solutions for me. I actually wasn’t too thrilled that it took someone like Dr. D’Adamo to finally put the bulk of them in print. I don’t agree with everything he’s discovered, but most.

Fact is, this guy could’ve saved me a heck of a lot of time if he wrote his book 10-15 years earlier.

In general, O’s can’t eat refined carbs or sugar, and maintain their weight or their health. Also, they tend to be the one blood type that needs enormous amounts of extremely strenuous exercise. Yoga and serene walks don’t tend to cut it.

But if you go to a Japanese grocery store sometime, you’ll see that A’s (most Japanese are type A) actually thrive on what healthy O’s would probably consider to be “crap food”.

One man’s garbage is literally another’s treasure… even when it comes to optimal food (aka fuel) sources.

Now, no females I know of typically do do that well with a lot of -none, at least not without tons more -anol to counterbalance.

While the metabolism routes of the body aren’t fully known, -None as a pheromone seems indicate someone who internally produces a lot of testosterone. Actually, I don’t even think that agrees with what’s currently known about metabolic pathways.

It’s a correlation you learn more by experience and observation. Lab research is slowwwwww, and often catches up to agree with exactly what people with actual experience and awareness learn on their own decades before.

If you were to wear it, you’d likely give off the vibe of a woman on the prowl, perhaps a woman permanently on the prowl. A high sex woman. One of those very high testosterone woman with at least slightly masculine features, with the accompanying hair growth (and loss) patterns. If you brought it to the extreme, maybe even a trollip or a “tramp”.

Many of the brand name pornstars that actually stay in the business long-term seem show signs of being high testosterone women… low subcutaneous (under the skin) body fat, slightly masculine facial features, tendency to grow a mustache, thin hair on their head, voices a little too deep, etc.

Testosterone, while thought of as a male hormone, is indeed generated by women, too, as you may already know. It’s one hormone that makes -both- men and women “horny”. So -none on you would tend to communicate that you were “in heat”, and again, perhaps permantly “in heat” - a sexual dream come true for a man, you could say.

Now why it negatively affects you… I don’t fully know. Obviously, a -none overdose, whether naturaly created by your own body or artificially created by applying external pheromones isn’t a good thing. This is well known. You could be “ODing”.

What happens when you wear it? Both to you and others?

Wow Michael, 90 percent? That’s a very strong correlation. I’m wondering what or how much you think it will tell us. Something like androstenone production is pretty significant.

Would blood effect pheromone signatures because of the pathwayshormones take when exiled through our skin?

Dr. D’Adamo has great success applying this simple genetic tool to diet. If you read about the blood type diet online, you’ll be amazed at how “non-faddish” this fad-type diet really is.

While it may not exist in it’s current form years from now, I think it’s really the start of something new. (and handy!)

As far as applying it to pheromones… Think of it as a way to classify race/pheromone connection, without mentioning race.

It also sorts race distinctions more finely.

Our own Jasmin, for instance, has quite a bit of Asian blood, but she’s not blood type A, as you might expect. She’s an O.

She also reacts differently than you’d expect an Asian to react. Heck, she even ACTs, nevermind re-ACTS, differently than you’d expect an Asian to react.

In fact, she seems much more like other Os I’ve met of ANY race.

If I’m to sort and classify (a nice way to say “pigeonhole”) her behaviors in any manner, O is much more accurate in her case than simply “Asian” or “half-Asian”.

Just another handy tool… I’m not saying it’ll be perfect. It isn’t, and it won’t ever be. The ABO blood type system itself isn’t the most accurate tool in the universe.

However, it’s really easy and cheap to find out your blood type, and many people already know what it is. So I think adding this to our toolchest of diagnostic tools will really help determine what will work best for whom. Or what will work best to achieve a certain social effect with whomever.

Interesting. I didn’t realize race and blood type were correlated, although now that you say, I have heard that in the past.

Japanese are mostly As, for instance. Less are Bs. Occasionally AB.

I mention the Japanese, specifically, because they make a big deal about bloodtype in their culture. You’ll notice that anime characters or Japanese trading cards of real people, always list blood type right along with othe other stats. (name, age, sex)

I think the Japanese have known the greater importance of blood type instinctually.

Gosh, what are us AB positives supposed to eat?

My Boyfriend is Type-B
B-hyeong namja chingu (2005)
Young-bin and Ha-mi meet by accident after a row over him ruining her cellphone. She believes he and she were destined to meet, but the problem is, he has blood-type B, making him spontaneous and emotional but unreliable. Her sister, running a dating-agency based on selection by blood-types, opposes the friendship, as she’s convinced that Ha-mi, with blood-type A, making her soft, introvert and shy, will only end up as another victim of his whims and arrogance. Romantic comedy by Seok-won Choi.

Deciding your future based on blood types?, 6 July 2006

I had heard before that some young women choose their future husbands, just based on what their blood type is. Any guy who is of blood B type is just being shunned upon. So, watching this romantic comedy which is based on a college student who wants to choose her own future husband by herself, not based all those silly ways which her cousin swore by is kind of interesting.

Anyhow, I did saw the DVD version of this movie some time back. Through those dubbing and subtitles.

Young-bin and Ha-mi meet by accident after a row over him ruining her cellphone. She thinks he and she were destined to meet, but the problem is, he has blood-type B. But Ha-mi’s cousin wanted Young-bin out of Ha-mi’s life just because she found what was his blood type.

But Ha-mi’s blood type is A, and it’s often being said that girls of that blood type are firm in what they are doing. Thus all the comedy and drama coming in.

I did have a good time watching it.

Heh, I’m sure blood types can be broken down into more personalities. I can be very spontaneous, yet at the same time I work very hard too=) harder than some of the people around me at that. I’m a B positive though.

other than food choices, i cant find alot of similarities between my blood type (a) and what my character is supposed to be…im not the typical a i guess

I’m O-. I definitely produce androstenone.

Ya me too.

Is there concrete research about that ? .. Observing for years, seems almost obvious from behaviours telling which person is O type, and who is A or B .. Then comes Lor comments above to take it to first base.

I’ve been wron before, but I think natural pheromone output for a specific person, is exactly reflecting that one individual.

Which makes everyone different, and we see that from one to another ..

I’ve been seeing references that hint that type O’s may have a naturally higher -none output than others. Now, I’m a type O, and based on some casual observation on my part I’m starting to think there may be a valid basis for that.

The times I’ve worn -none heavy products (like PI and even NPA) I often got negative “defensive” reactions from my female test subjects (ages 20 to about 35. Most older women didn’t seem to react at all.) Sorta “OD” type reactions. I’ve alse started to get familiar with that “-none smell” and have noticed that sometimes I seem to have that same smell even without adding any pheromone products. So maybe it is indeed being churned out at higher levels that someone else with different body chemistry.

I’ve been concentrating more on wearing “counterbalancing” products like IO (alpha -nols), and some smaller amounts of -rone based products like a314, which by the way, during a little experiment I did, seemed to nullify the negative effects of PI on one of my most -none sensitive/averse test subjects.

Also bear in mind that I’m close to 55, an age at which -none production (etc) is supposed to be on the downswing. I’ve also got a pretty decent head of hair (although it is receeding/thinning slightly) which may also point to a “natural” higher level of “youthful” body chemical levels (like both -none and testosterone). Whether that is related to blood type or other genetic factors is a question I can’t answer. My father is approaching 91 and still has a fair amount of hair too. Not sure what kind of hormone levels he has.

You spent years observing people and have become comfortable with getting a feel for their blood type from what you’ve observed, and along comes Lor and shatters that for ya? Come on, every group has it’s outliers. Lor’s just a weirdo.

Lor .. She is the outliner that her will-power managed to change her blood type !

Then again, I came across few research papers linking hormones & blood types, but nothing I’d call scientific about either in relation to pheromone output from a human.

Here is a more controversial thought … would ‘deep state of mind’ control pheromone output from a person, regardless of blood type, race etc ? .. I observed that more than once, can not prove it as a fact, but I am keeping an eye and open mind to it.

absolutely.
determine what emotion/thought processes naturally raise /lower hormone level… determine if hormone level affects pheromone output…willfully put yourself in those moods using visualization.
if ummm, getting turned on increases output at all, and creates a loop, then some of us are 'mone machines.

How can an A type, have such O thoughts ?
