Well I have been reading a few journals while I’ve been waiting for my pheromones to come in, and once they did I figured I should join the club and put my thoughts and experiences out there so people might learn from (or more likely laugh at) them. So here it is, the journal of Slick (that’s me!)
My first use of Pheromones and the fun times that followed:
So yesterday I got in my pheromones and then immediately had to go to work, so I quickly applied two prays of Instant Shine and a spray of Instant Gentleman and ran out the door.
Now before this story really gets going you’ll have to understand where I work and what it’s like. I work for CVS Pharmacy/general store. A boring job for sure, especially so since I work the late owl shift (11pm-7am!) The people that come in are usually in either one of two different states. ONE: They have been hanging out at the club district that is just 5 blocks down the road, or TWO: They feel sick or are extremely sleepy and tired or BOTH and just want to get home. Now as you can imagine this can make for a rather amusing night and a rather boring night depending on who’s in the store.
So to continue I left for work with my new products on and hoping I won’t fall asleep while at work. When I get there everything is the same as always, boring with tons of menial labor to be done and people to check out at the register. What great times to be had Over the course of the night I realised that I every single customer so far that I had checked out hadn’t been in either of the two normal states (ie drunk or pissed) As people came in the door they looked like they always do with thoughts of going home and sleeping or running back to the club with a new pack of cigaretes in hand. But when they got up to the counter I could actually see that the longer they stayed there the more smiley they became. I had one girl actually talk my ear off for about 15 minutes since there were no other customers, at 3:45 at night that almost never happens, especially to me. (I’m a pretty shy guy and don’t engage in real conversations when at work on principal) This effect could I’m sure be contributed to any number of things from the full moon being out (which I dunno if it was) or to probability breaking down and everyone just being happy to see my rough but handsome face (I accidentally forgot to shave before I went to work!), but whatever the reason it was a very nice night. Even the guys I was working with were joking and laughing with me. At one point in the night we have people come in and restock some of our food products, and we even got them to have a jolly good time, the whole store was just a fun place to be.
Now when my boss cmoes in, even if we are having a good time things usually calm down instantly. Not to say she isn’t a fun person but she’s usually all about business while at work. She came in like she usually does, though it looked like she was having a bad morning. Two cups of coffee instead of the usual one, and a frown on her face. We all greated her with a “Good morning” and she barely responded. As she made her way through counting down the redgisters I stayed around her ringing people up and idly talking to her. I could actually see her change from grumpy to laughing at my corny but amusing jokes. Then our assistant manager came in (the biggest hardass I’ve seen in a long time, he just got out of the army) and he didn’t look to happy and me and my boss were laughing about one of my other coworkers in the back. 10 minutes later he was ther laughing with us, along with a few of the early morning customers!
Needless to say I know the pheromones were working and it was a great night. I’m interested to see what higher doses might do for general store morale.
One question to anyone that happened to make it through this whole post (or skipped to the bottom which is okay too!) If someone stays in a very general area (say behind a counter) for multiple hours while wearing pheromones will they have a lasting effect on that general spot? IE a lingering smell or something like that? I noticed that even when I wasn’t up at the front of the store people were still all smiley and stuff. If that from the pheromones or just some weird CVS quirk where the counter is a happy place to be?

I’m not certain, but I do think a phero cloud lingers for a little while after you have left the area. It is very possible that some of the pheros still lingered in the area near the counter.
So my second real attempt at using pheromones went interestingly well. I’ll tell you first about the day before so that you can see the difference the pheromones made.
Day 1: I went to the Black and White photography development lab that we have on campus. It’s an old extremely cramped little room full of chemicals and machines used for exposing photographs. You can only walk around the room single file or squeeze through belly to belly because the middle of the room has a huge row of very needed sinks/development tables. Now that the scene is set up, onto the story.
I went in and started to set up my stuff to work on my project. There were two other people in the lab, one girl next to me who was in my class (let’s call her Jenny) and another girl I didn’t know on the other side of the room (I’ll call her Tammy). So I spent the entire time on my project not really saying a word to either of them, towards the end when Jenny finished her work we talked about the class and random stuff. Jenny also talked to Tammy, but Tammy never said a word to me. I couldn’t get u the courage to initiate a convo because She was extremely pretty and that’s intimidating on her. So that was the day without the Pheromones.
Day 2: So I went back the next day, since I didn’t finish my project. I wore 4x Instant Shine (hoping that might lead to a little more enjoyable day), 3x Instant Female Magic, 4x Instant Gentleman (from to-go bottle), and 2x Turn Up The Heat. When I came into the lab that day there was a little girl (5 years old kind of little) and Tammy was there too. I was feeling confident with the IS on and started my work. I took a look at Tammy’s photo as it developed and commented on it. We started talking about projects and small stuff, then I asked if the little girl was her daughter. Turns out she was (and the little girl was just beyond cute BTW), after about 10 minutes of just normal talking Tammy started in on her life story and about how she has a daughter and how why she is in college and all kinds of things.
After she kind of calmed down and finished her story she said (and I quote directly) “I just love talking to you, it’s like you have an aura around you that just makes me so comfortable with you and myself.” Now all through my life I have always been the kind guy who people open up to, but it’s never been quite like that before, so I think this is a definite win for the pheromones.
