The Future of Pherotalk

If AD goes through with releasing a Ammo 2.0 type product to the actual consumer based public what do you think will happen to pherotalk? Will we go semi or fully underground. Will PT become like a fraternity/sorority where people will have to through trials in order to become a member of the whole “phero insider club”? Just like some others on here. I want AD to be successful and would never ask for it to stay small just so us 20-100k can hog the technology to ourselves yet it has to be asked.

How will a product be let out to the public without it becoming way too mainstream (obviously in the distant future since there really arent that many people using mones right now)? How will a Androstenone plague be averted? I dont know how if the same rules would apply to a pheromone cologne vs a standard cologne since standard colognes may contain analog mones but in pheromone colognes hormone derivatives are present and it almost seems like a whole new set of rules may have to come into play for the fragrance industry due to this extraordinary nuance.

I know Realm is sold and pitched as a pheromone cologne but the content is minute at best and is pretty harmless overall. Something like MX297 being pitched to the public would be great. I was just wondering if ingredients had to be clearly stated on the product or would the same rule apply as with colognes/perfumes where they dont have to declare the main notes of the product.

My worries may not be shared with some others on here but look at it this way. If sex is what really sells a majority of what we buy and consume and androstenone basically is the perfect personification of this (with men) What would stop men from going to clubs/school/workplace wearing things like TUTH, The Edge and Primal Instinct there. 1-10 people wearing mones in the same vicinity seems okay for the most part. But what about 20-60 percent of a venue doused in androstenone products hoping to score with dimes they see on the dance floor.

Couldn’t have put it better myself.
It looks like times are changing

I’ve was in kickboxing and weight training for a long time. Sometime around the late 90’s a magazine called Muscle Media expanded with a startup supplement company called Experimental and Applied Sciences. Their flagship product phosphagen was pretty much the first creatine monohydrate product on the market. It was the first product that advertised “almost as good as” steroid like gains in size and strength, that was actually supported by several university conducted studies and it delivered. The result, the company exploded and became the largest supplement company in the business, even getting a lot of people into weight training and body building that hadn’t been in it before.

But a few morons were taking creatine and NOT READING THE FUCKING DIRECTIONS and were not drinking more water (creatine cause cell volumizing and flushes water into the cells creating a pump) So they dehydrated and got painful cramps, some had to be hospitalized, a couple mixed creatine with ephedrine and fucking died.
Ephedrine got banned, and the creatine craze died down to a more reasonable level. Today people still work out and use it but the craze is not near what it was in the mid-late 90’s.

So a few idiots will use TuTH in inappropriate environments, or use too much TuTH for what they really want. Negative reactions will come from OD’s and people will of course blame the product rather than the lack of intelligence on the part of the user. The fad will die down. Still bigger than it is today but not as big as at it’s peak. if 10 million new people get into mones due to this. After a year or two, 8 million will move on to other things and 2 million sensible people will stay.
Just weather the storm.

I’m just thinking of it this way. If high -none products go commercial, I’ll just use P75, P83, A1, and even some P96, you’ll still stand out, and carry that attraction when everyone is wearing it.

That I think is going to be the main category of change you’ll see here. I mean MX297 is a great product to start off in, because mainly well, we know a better alternative to it.

Unfortunately, we’ll just have to adapt and make sig changes, which would be a little tougher, but would still give us the edge above all others.

If we have another place to serve people, hopefully more of a phero insider club. More exclusive. It’s tough to have the completely mixed environment we have here. Maybe people can graduate to here on an invite only basis.

That would be impossible, unless we asked you for a lot more money or dropped all of the more expensive molecules. I don’t like either scenario.

We’re not an androstenone company.

The partner for Project UF has agreed to quantity limits, which is why it’s conditionally greenlighted.

Ammo is currently ours, and we don’t plan on having much or any androstenone in it. v2 or v3 will have no set quantity limits, but is limited by the current market (which is small; there’s GREAT big barriers to accepting mones). It is also intended to have a halo effect, which would benefit everyone. Read my MX297 Ammo thread for details on this.

We’ve been around for almost 7 years now, we could’ve sold high -anone products all along. Instead, we’ve shown an aversion to them. Without outside forces like investors, that’s not going to change.

You’d not only hurt your own chances (less of a “secret weapon”), but you’d probably destroy the social dynamic of that venue while you’re at it. Maybe even physically hurt the venue since group dynamics of heavy -none can be quite hostile.

Androstenone in large amounts is social poison. You’d have to be Hitler to aggressively market that to a wide audience.

Let’s put it this way, if the makers of Axe put just a few mg in each bottle, you’d be living in a different, darker world as people everywhere got the new bottles. Maybe in a month, you’d have a shadow hanging everywhere. Grumpier people, people with “shorter ropes”, less civility. It’d be like an attack on our very consciousness.

That’s why we’d never market high -none to a wide audience.

If you mean, if Ammo was successful… would sales of things like Primal and the Edge pick up? Probably. A lot to cause concern? Maybe. That might be of concern. It’s not us who’ll be the Hitlers of the market, though, I guarantee you that. Just like with a1, we’ll seek to severely limit access and quantities, but we can’t guarantee what other companies will do.

Ammo v2.0, if we rush a soft launch though, you have nothin’ to worry about. We’re just looking for Pherlure type sales quantity. That’s a lot of money to a project like ours, probably enough to keep this project running w/o price increases, but it wouldn’t see the scenario you’re talking about being played out.

To get the really high levels, we’d need to get something like Ammo on shows like Oprah. We don’t have the ability to do that right now. We don’t even have the manufacturing capability to make many more than 5k bottles per month.

5k sales of a consumer product may sound like nothing, but when it’s sold without a point system, sold with hopefully a lower chemical cost (we don’t necessarily need to use the grade of chems we do here), sold without A level service, etc., is a lot of money we can invest in our chemist’s operation.

5k bottles monthly to a country of 300M is still a niche product that nobody you run into knows about. Means almost nothing to the world at large. That’s 166 bottles a day, 6 an hour. My dad farts more than that. I’m sorry to be so gross, but unfortunately that’s a perfect parallel. As bad and toxic as his expulsions are, honestly, he barely effects his house, nevermind the neighborhood, the local bars, danceclubs or the world.

Even success at the that low a level (again, just 6 bottles per hour) would means almost everything to everyone here, since it should bring in almost exactly the amount of money we need to continue on here w/o making drastic changes.

We’re efficient buggers. We do a lot with very little.

I’m starting to see a lot of concern from people on here. Thank you Jasmin for directly addressing so much of it. If I could add my 2 cents maybe this will help.

It appears that a lot of concerns are about saturation of the market. I believe that we are jumping the gun on this some. What we are really discussing is product life cycle (PLC). For instance you can look back to something like the mobile phone and see how through time it went from only the very wealthy with clunky car phones and suitcase phones to large groups of preteens and even younger texting each other while standing right next to each other.

The product life cycle is introduction, growth, maturity, decline, and sometimes withdrawal if the product is replaced. The key note is the growth period where sales of a product skyrocket as more people learn about it. The length of that period can very from industry to industry. A good comparison in technology are the car, microwave, and cell phone. All have a different length of PLC.

A key factor in the PLC is when 10% of a population has adopted the industry. This is where growth in that industry or product sky rockets. So here is the question. Are we at that 10% mark and if not how long will it be before we hit that mark? Well we certainly don’t have 30M people in the United States wearing synthetic pheromones. The other issue is that pheromones are closely tied to the fragrance market which is already mature and may even be close to decline. How many people are going to drop their current cologne or perfume to look into pheromone perfumes?

I’m excited for Androtics to venture further into the commercial world. But I seriously think it will be a long time, as in decades, before it affects us. Besides haven’t pheromones already been proven not to work by the media?

LMAO.

Good analogy, Jas.

We have had this discussion quite a bit in the past and I can say that what Jasmin is saying now about 'none products is what she has been saying all along - namely Androtics is not going to market a high 'none product as that is not what they want to unleash on the world.

Do they sell TUTH here? Sure. Do those of us who have been around awhile warn folks about the problems associated with high 'none doses, say that even in the romance department you will probably do better in the long run with more social products, or even if you do use something like TUTH think about tempering it with Shine, IO or IH? I can’t tell you how many times I and others have said those very things.

Will a commercial release of Ammo bring pheros to the forefront of public knowledge? Probably a little more, but I think pheromones will still be pretty much a niche product.

Let´s calculate

Imagine that based on a 30 ml bottle and a user that is successful with the product it will take 2 or 3 month approximately to empten a bottle.
Or how long can most users go with a bottle of Ammo ?

If they use it every day approx 4 sprays a day it will last 50 days
Maybe they take a few days off and use it not so often it will last longer.
Some people said to use 10 spays an evening when out and so the bottle will empten faster.

I will cut out the ones which buy the product only once.

5000 bottles a month would mean that you´d need 10000 to 15000 customers which use the product regularly.

Even if it will be sold only in the US it won´t make a big difference for the usual AD Customer.

No worries guys …
