I recently created a 3 ounce mixture with an ammo base. 2.5 lotion,.5 Ammo.
I did this to try and apply in a more discreet way. It seemed to work really well. Has anybody else attempted this mixture? Has this been made before?
Did Anyone else try something and get results?
Thanks!
Yes - this is a method used to regulate diffusion/breakdown of sprays in very hot conditions where they tend to expire much faster.
In more temperate climes, I find simply spraying over a settled-in application of lotion will also have some prolonging/breakdown reducing effects, although with the penalty of a slight reduction in diffusion range. The effects are most marked with oils however - I can get up to 12hrs from an A314 application and easily 10hrs from some of the more stink-prone competition.
I’d like to know more about this!
To what end? Temp management or extending activity/limiting breakdown?
Interesting. Since this is lotion slathering season in Minnesota I might just give this a whirl.
Diffusion in the summer here is not an issue (hot and muggy), its more the breakdown. I have done what Mobo was talking about, and it works well most hot days. But when it is 90/90 like it was down in Miami when I was there last summer, nothing really works. It just melts. I resorted to just applying on my wrists so when it starts reeking, I just go to the bathroom and wash it off and reapply.
I remember a factoid about “crushing Pheromones” when people spray and dab or rub. This would happen if the mixture was used to aggressively, correct?
For me I find that applying lotion to the pulse points and then spraying the pheromones over them does help…I’ve noticed an increase in self-effects…having said that, I think it would affect other people as well on a grander scale…for oils I would recommend using this method as you don’t want the oils to be absorbed by your skin.
That’s a myth. You can’t break the molecular bond of a pheromone by simply rubbing.
I love essential oils, can I make a discreet mix for work use? Or will mixing oils with the pheromones kill the pheromones ? I imagine certain oils that have antibacterial qualities like lavender or tea tree might not be a good idea?
Applying lotion at work would be better and more discreet, but temp is usually around 65 in the building (blasting AC ugh) 24/7, and around 80/90 outside year round.
Yes, some essential oils can be very useful, either mixed with mones or applied nearby - Probably not the consumer products though as oils tend to require considerably higher doses than sprays and it varies between mones, so proportions will differ too. So you would probably be looking to base mixes on Experimones/Putatives at moderately high concentrations.
Yes, essential oils with antibacterial properties do need to avoided - That’s most wood oils, Lavender and others - I think there is agood thread on which to avoid here already if you want to search.
Applying over lotion could be good in that temp range -It will be just fine in the AC environment and I have used mones over lotion in up to 100f on a trip to the US and still got 7/8hrs out of A314 and up to about 4hrs from sprays before breakdown became obvious and wash/reapplication (as opposed to topup) essential.
I’m not convinced you would “crush” the pheros but rubbing-in too vigorously would lodge them firmly in the epidermis, which would slow diffusion and speed breakdown due increased contact speeding the action of skin bacteria.
With a lotion, I’ll apply it first, lightly. Wait a few minutes for it to settle into the epidermis (skin appears dry/not sticky), then lightly spread the oil on the app point or spray normally.
What kind of lotion would you suggest? And would I have to wait a bit after applying the lotion , before applying the Mones?
Most of my hygienic products have essential oils in them , I would probably need to read the ingredients to make sure it won’t destroy anything .. Can a female use lotion to soften the intensity of TUTH?
Please forgive all the questions, it’s just so interesting lol
Thanks!!!
Oops I just saw your answer above after I posted my question. lol sorry
It is a good idea to try and get mone-destroying substances out of your cosmetics, yes.
Not only for the mones - they also tend to be a bit potentially iffy in other ways.
Triclosan is another very common and bad one - Getting rid of stuff containing that worked wonders for phero effectiveness for me.
Lotion will certainly slow/reduce impact of TUTH in aircon environments but it won’t particularly soften it - I reckon some steering would still be needed. Your avatar screams P97 at me!
