A314 “OD” At Work
Some back story.
Back in January after one chaotic holiday season, the powers that be decided they would go ahead and do a musical chairs number on the Starbucks managers and switch them around. Some got “demoted” to slower stores, some got “promoted” to busier more challenging stores.
The store I am in bounces back between 1st and 2nd in volume. My co-manager got demoted to one of the worst stores in our district and I got a new co-manager who is … I have no other way to put it … one emotionally fucked up psycho bitch.
This poor woman is either on a crying jag, or a screaming jag every quarter hour. Her “cycle” doesn’t happen in weeks or days, she gets a period once every other quarter hour. I am not saying this lightly. There is something seriously wrong with her and she’s making our lives miserable.
This last week we were informed that we would be having “company.” This would include our Starbucks Reps as well as company big wigs from our division boss, up to our Regional boss who works directly under the president / ceo of the company.
Anywhooooooo… I decided that would be a good day to go with my business mix of:
A314 + IH + Ammo + IS
However, I decided I would up my usual dose of A314 and go 3 drops, with a reapply approximately 5 hours into my shift.
MIX: (all 30ml bottles. IH Akuto scented / Ammo FF21 A314 Rev23)
3d A314 + 2s IHX2 + 1s Ammo 2x + 4s IS

IH: L,R Neck
Ammo: Chest
IH: Hair
APP TIME:
A314: 4:45 am

SELF-EFFECTS:
I was fine for most of the morning, dealt with customers okay. Cowgirl came in around 7 a.m. and I was immediately irritated with her.
TARGETS: (Targets are all subjects who enter my phero cloud)
Cowgirl - 18 year old white female who is an avid rider and trainer of horses. I have been having issues with Cowgirl for awhile now. She is a new hire going on 2 months, but is cross trained in another department so her skills just are not up to par.
My issues with her, she’s a child and behaves like one at work. Shows passive-aggressive tendencies towards my authority, willfully disobeys my requests and forces me to order her around.
Clowngirl - Girl is being kind, this is a 49 year old woman who wears too much make up. My psychotic co-manager.
Wannabe - Female, mid to late 30’s. Supervisor for the grocery train our Starbucks is house in.
Effects On Others:
Cowgirl clocked in directly at 7 am and immediately began standing around while watching me work. I told her, “there won’t be any standing around today, we got a lot to do.”
As the day progressed I had to constantly follow up on her and quite honestly my patience was wearing thin. We had guests coming and I knew we were not up to par with our appearance.
An issue arose where I needed her to stop what she was doing to handle customer service. I leaned over to her and said, “We have enough, let’s go ahead and get this out of the way.” She did like she has done on many occasions, she ignored me.
I then said in a slightly more sterner voice the exact same thing. She snapped at me and yelled, “I have to empty this because…”
As soon as she was finished, I then said in a very commanding voice once again, “We have enough, let’s go ahead and get this out of the way.”
The project she was working on was blocking access to the espresso bar, the cold beverage station and the 3 compartment sink. She was holding up orders and the project she was working on could be completed at another time.
When she returned to our kiosk I quietly said to her, “If you snap at me like that again, you and I will be speaking to a supervisor.”
She then proceeded to yell at me, then informed me after looking at the line, “I’m going on break and leaving you alone.”
I then told her in no uncertain terms, “You will man that register.” When the line was empty, but orders still to be made, she then stated she would be going on break. I told her she would not, that she would be speaking to a supervisor. Cowgirl continued to stand outside the kiosk and argue with me, putting me in an uncomfortable position because quite honestly, I wanted to tear her a new one, but could not in front of customers.
Wannabe entered the picture. I took her to the side and explained to her what was going on. I was quite frustrated at this point and said to her, “Someone needs to speak to her and explain that when I am asking her to do something she needs to get it taken care of.”
I explained to her in detail what just occurred and how Cowgirl was being in subordinate.
Wannabe walked over to the kiosk and now Cowgirl was in tears. Being in a female dominated environment I knew right away this was an issue where I was going to be the bad guy no matter what.
Fast Forward to Clowngirl arriving at the store, she bypasses me and goes directly into the office after speaking to Cowgirl outside.
When Cowgirl finally comes back in, I now go into the office to speak with Clowngirl and Wannabe.
I once again relay my story and immediately upon finishing Clowngirl looks over at Wannabe and says, “Ok Wannabe…”
Now Wannabe turns to me and says, “All I know, if you were speaking to her like you were speaking to me, telling me how to do my job…” She claimed I told her in a very demanding tone, “YOU need to speak to that little girl…”
Of course I tell her I was in no way telling her how to do her job, that I was frustrated and stating that “someone needed to speak to her…” In order to get Cowgirl to understand that she needs to follow directions.
In the end, I looked at the both of them and said, “I see you’ve all made up your minds, all you see is some big bad old man picking on some young girl.”
CONCLUSIONS AND THOUGHTS:
This is not the first incident I have had with Cowgirl when wearing A314. I am of the opinion that she has an issue with male authority figures. I don’t know what role her father plays in her life, or what kind of man he is.
The last incident we had when wearing A314 was when she kept writing names on cups in a style that hinted that she might suffer from Dyslexia.
The name Brian would be spelled as Brain. Janice would be Jacine. I asked her if she was dyslexic and I explained to her that I suffer slightly from dyslexia and have an auditory processing issue that causes me at times to hear something completely different than what people say. Someone can say there name is Bob, I don’t mistake it as Rob, I mistake it as Tom.
She said she was not dyslexic, I then told her about how she was writing names on cups and suggested maybe she might wanna speak to a doctor.
Everything seemed to be fine, we were actually chatting and laughing for a few minutes when she asked to take her break. I found out later the reason she wanted to go on break was so she could call Clowngirl. She told Clowngirl that I called her Dyslexic, and then went into our store managers office and stated the same thing and that she would quit if she were to have to work any future shifts with me.
In my defense, I was honestly trying to be helpful. But if she does have an issue with male authority figures I may come off as too strong, or even overbearing with A314 and the added -none from ammo. I don’t know if socials can even salvage it. She is young and it could be affecting her adversely and making her nervous.
With my conversation with Wannabe, once again, my agitated demeanor and tone in my voice was mistaken as demanding and authoritative when my true intent was frustration. Yes, I did want someone to speak to her. But it was more like, “please do something before I go nuts and rip her a new one.” And not, “DO YOUR JOB!”
Now having the benefit of hindsight and seeing two issues arise with the same girl, I now know that if I am scheduled to work with her again, I will lay off anything with an alpha vibe and stick mainly with more social type products.
Something like my IG and MX297 mix, or even IH or IO along with IS.
If this does occur, I will report my findings at a later date.
