A good reminder that these pheros are quite potent! You really need to figure out how to use them or they can affect you in ways you do not want lol!
I have mx274 too, but haven’t played w/ it much. I’ll go slowly with upping the sprays

i always get mixed feelings with mx274.. sometimes i think it’s a nice social calming phero, but then ive gotten some negative reactions out of it as well. ill keep an eye out for ur reports
I guess I would say it is a reassessment mix, too. It sure seemed like my supervisor was able to reassess the situation more calmly and from my point of view LOL. Which, like I said, is practically unheard of!
I wore it again today, at the same dosage and sprays as on Friday.
Product used: MX274, to-go bottle (I’m not sure how many mcg/spray–it doesn’t say on the bottle, I think it might be 12.5mcg), grapefruit scented
Amount used: 3 sprays–one to chest, one to hair, one to wrists/split
Mondays are the worst day of the week to deal with my supervisor, she has to do timecards, as well as deal with any problems that came up over the weekend. She is always a real bitch on Mondays and everyone avoids her if at all possible. Unfortunately, I had a resident with complaints that had to be followed up on with her, so I had no other choice than to deal with her.
I had applied the MX274 at around 9 am, and it was around 1:30 pm when I met with her. Again, she started out crabby, rude and very short with me. But after several minutes, she was a lot more pleasant and sat down to listen to what I was saying, instead of standing in the doorway of her office like she couldn’t wait to get rid of me.
It also seemed to make the resident who had the complaints somewhat calmer while he was telling me about the problem; when he had started out rather agitated.
One thing I did notice, however, was that while dealing with some of my more cognitively impaired residents who are easily agitated, that it didn’t seem to make much of a difference while I was around them. I was hoping it would have a calming effect on them as well; this would be a great MX to wear to work in that case. But I just didn’t notice any change in their moods or attitudes: one lady who was confused and upset because she couldn’t remember where she had parked her car (she doesn’t drive and hasn’t in many years) became almost more upset when I tried to divert her attention to something else, which usually works with her. I’d like to try this again on a day when I have more time to spend with my residents, and see if this is common or just occured today.
Today I tested out two different pheromones. Mx274 in the morning and mx135 about 5 hours later.
mx274-i read somewhere that the scent is a mix of grapfruit and chocolatini.
2 sprays to my neck
1 spray to my hair
mx135-chocolatini (Yum!)
3 sprays to my neck
1 spray to the back of my neck
1 spray to the back of my head
In the morning I applied mx274. It stunk… bad. LOL. I tried to cover it up with some Pink Sugar, but It didn’t work very well. This however could have been due to the fact that I was in a hurry and was not able to wait a full 10 minutes for the pheros to dry down properly. Either way it stunk. When I hoped in the car, my little sister was like “Eww what’s that smell? You smell like a chocolate mushroom!” and my dad was like “Whats that smell?” and I was like. “Um I dont even know what your talking about…”
. hahah of course it was me… I stunk like some sort of exotic plant… from a swamp… that was dying. So anyways, I went off to school. Things I noticed right off was how calm (like I mentioned in my previous report) it made me feel. I also felt like things needed to be my way… kinda a wierd way to feel along with being calm. I felt a bit competative and cocky but at the same time, still calm and content. Wierd I know… but i could of just been me. During spanish the teacher called me up (second) to do a presentation. I ALWAYS get really nervous and end up screwing up or forgetting simple things. Not this time. I had forgotten I was even wearing mx274 til after I gave a smooth jitter free presentation. I was like wow… how did I do that without getting nervous? Then I remembered… MX274!!
.When I was walking down the hallway, I noticed I was getting a lot of friendly gestures. People would not only say hi, but they would put their hand on my shoulder and smile sincerely. Some guy I hardly ever talked to kept stepping on the backs of my shoes. When I would turn around, he would just laugh

After the first half of school I decided I would do some more testing with mx135. I wanted to see what 3 sprays to my neck would do. So instead of putting 2 sprays to my hair 2 to my neck and 1 to the back of my neck (like i have in the past), I put more on my neck this time. So just after I applied it, I was walking down the hall when the guy walking next to me kept sniffing. He took in atleast 5 deep whiffs. He probably really liked the chocolatini . So I’m walking down the hall when a guy I hadn’t talked to in awhile gave me a gentle push. He asked me what I had been up to and really wanted to chat… I of course needed to get to class, so I was forced to cut to conversation short. I didn’t even make it up the first step when a girl who is kinda a friend started talking to me about a guy who wont stop texting her. She was so into the conversation that when one of her friends called out “Hey Girl!!” She was like “Shut up! Cant you see I’m talking!?” hahahah. All I could do was laugh 
. The rest of the day I didn’t notice anymore big hits. Mx135 always makes me feel chill and social. Its a great mix, but I think it works best outside of school or places where you dont have to be focused. Last time I wore it at school I would get great hits until class would start. Like just before class all these people were surrounding me (Yup, there was a circle and I was in it. The middle mind you!!) as I was talking. It’s not really possible for this to happen during class

I just got MX274 about 4 seconds ago - LOL 'bout the smell. At first I was thinking chocolatey with an overwhelming ‘imitation coconut’ smell.
Now as I’m sniffing my hands I cant help but think of dog vomit and mushrooms. Thanks guys !
mm i really really dont like mx274 smell neither.. i like the effects i get from it, but not the smell

After wondering what would be a good phero to try out at work, (and asking about it in thread “What to try next?”), I got a lot of advice, and decided to try out MX274 on Friday based on Diane’s comment and the recent over-the-top bitchiness my supervisor has been exhibiting lately.

Environment: at work. I had a meeting set up with my supervisor Friday morning regarding problems with some of my work that I had done, not showing up in the computer days later. Her take on it was that I just had not done the work in the first place; mine, that there is something wrong with the program that needs to be taken care of, because I know I had done the work. Unpleasantness ensued. 
We had already had one “discussion” about this earlier in the week, which basically ended up with her calling me names, and a liar, and I called the administrator in on it because I was angry enough that I was at the point I was about to start name calling myself. So as a compromise of sorts, we set up the Friday meeting in order to let everyone ‘settle down’. Whatever.
Results:
Self effects: Although I was still pissed off about her attitude towards me, especially since I’ve never done anything to deserve it, I felt calmer and more “grounded” (I think that is the word I want to use) about the meeting. Like even though I was upset, I was just going to focus on the issue at hand and not get emotional about whatever she said.
Effects on others: My supervisor was pretty tense at the beginning of the meeting, confrontational, accusatory…the usual. But I stayed calm and explained what I was seeing in the program from my end, and showed her how I had been keeping written copies of the work with dates that it was completed on it, just as a reference. After about 10 minutes, she seemed more relaxed and willing to listen to what I was saying. She actually looked at the written copies, and agreed that it looked like I had done the work I said I had done. At the end of the meeting, she had called IS to have them check into the program and see what was wrong with it, and also left messages with other departments to see if anyone else had had issues similar to mine. Then…shocking!!..she hugged me and said if I had any more problems to come talk to her and we would get them straightened out. I seriously about fell down in shock! I quickly left and went back to my office at that point, because I wasn’t sure she hadn’t been possessed and I didn’t want to deal with that. LOL.
So I am convinced that this MX works. I was starting to wonder a little, as the Instant Shine just doesn’t seem to be my thing. I wasn’t going to get into the MX’s or P’s just yet, but this worked out quite well, so I think I’ll keep this to-go in my desk for those ‘special’ days like Friday LOL.
Today after church, when my family and I arrived at the resturant, I decided I would test out my MX274. Just before we were seated…
1 1/2 sprays to my neck
The first thing I noticed was it’s unusual and unpleasant smell!! LOL. It smelt like some kind of exotic plant or maybe an herb. It was slightly citrus like… but mostly like a wierd plant. No body really said anything, but it kinda made me sick. Ok enough about the smell . This spray made me feel very calm and content. Everyone at the table seemed happy as well. There was no conflict or arguments between anyone. Everyone seemed to speak in a nice tone. There was a lot of talking as well as careful listening. The waiter was very kind. He gave us two free flans that were freshly made!! . I suddenly wasn’t worried about my homework anymore and all seemed good. I sit here now typing this report in peacefulness hehehehe. Can’t wait to try it tomorrow at school!! Maybe with a little IS/A? eh?

Oh I didn’t mean testing Mx274 to figure out whether there’s P83 in it
I was just talking about doing more Mx274 tests in general, with my normal socials to get a better idea of what it does & what it doesn’t do for me
P83 seems masculine/dominant to me … aggression, boldness, increased status, made my husband a more irritable driver than usual; good for heating up the sex, though.
My first trial with MX274 was very much like P83 in those ways, but the next 2 times (in different contexts: work, meetings - nothing purely social or where sex was in the air) were the opposite.
Trying to do some research on this guy! Your reports sure are coming in handy. I’ve only stuck with Instant series so far but Im thinking Mx274 will be my first step out of the series. Scary stuff.

This is a terrific report and I was gonna rep you for it. But I have to spread some love around first. So a thank you will have to do for now.
MX274 is a harmony bonding mix. It isn’t exactly a social mix, more for promoting peaceful vibes. So, you shouldn’t expect to see the same kind of in-your-face results with it like you would see with Instant Openness or one other chatty socials.
What you will see is a lack of irritation, a lack of conflict, and a lack of ego bruising with it. You will find your best “hits” with this if you wait until you are in a tense situation and then use it. It is pretty amazing how quickly peace and harmony flood the area.

I’ve been testing the Mx274 for a few days now and after the initial confusion over the scent I’m still not sure about it. I was soo looking forward to it…
I think I was expecting it to be it a super social almost party type phero, kind of like Mx135…but so far I’m not getting that at all…
I have tried it on it’s own and combined with TAF only so far though so I still need to try it a bit more, and possibly in higher doses too…
What I’ve tried so far is;
- Mx274 - 3 sprays (1 between wrists & 2 on the sides of my neck)
- Mx274 - 4 sprays (1 between wrists, 2 on the sides of my neck & 1 to the back of my neck)
- Mx274 - 3 sprays (wrists & neck) + 20mcg TAF…this is when I went around all day thinking I smelled of chocolate
Self effects;
I didn’t notice much with the 3 spray trials…other than feeling good about myself and thinking I smelled nice.
With 4 sprays I did notice I felt happy, but not a bubbly happy like with IS, Mx135, P83 or any of my combo’s…it was just a calm & content kind of happy.
I did notice that I felt relaxed, calm and content with the higher dose of Mx274, but not more chatty or social like I was expecting.
I seemed to be a lot less bothered by critisism ans stress too… I was going through various clinical examinations with my colleauge for the clinical exams we have coming up and after I had done a run through and he was critiquing my performance…it was constructive but unlike what I normally do which is get a bit annoyed (not because of someone pointing out what could be done better but because I could have done better…I’m a perfectionist )…this time I felt no annoyance at all! In fact I was probing for more, and kept asking “what else”…and I was very matter of fact about it, calm and not stressed at all…
Effects on others;
I didn’t notice much effects on others…my colleague seemed quite calm too and even took me to the pub after work for a drink. Quite sweet of him…not sure it was a hit though.
Duration of effects;
Same as most phero’s I’ve used (except TAF )..about 5-6 hours or so with best effetcs the first 3 hours.
That’s great! I think it helps immensely with the happy attitude which makes people wanna look at you and then you can confidently look back at them with a smile because you not only have on IS, you have on IS/a as well!
Wow, MX274. I just read people are more willing to accommodate you and I guess just generally interested in what you have to say. So I guess it would be great for whenever you were giving a speech or if your trying to compete with someone for the attention of a boy (Probably would be a good combo with IS/a if you wanted to attract a guy)
Now that would take all the fun away from your testing! Let me just say that social settings are goooood w/ MX274.

MX274 is not graprefruit its a blend of cookie or choclitini and grapefruit. Dont ask me why they decided to blend those two LOL

I quite like the drydown smell…
Yeah, the grapefruit scented products don’t smell much like grapefruit. Unfortunate, since grapefruit is such a nice, clean smell. I don’t mind the drydown smell of MX274, but it doesn’t smell like chocolate to me. I can’t identify it either.

I did a half-arsed attempt at trying my brand spanking new Mx274 today… (I only used 2 sprays and was not really interacting with people much today so I didn’t get any hits)
I noticed some nice self effects…BUT the thing that kept bugging me all day was the smell…I couldn’t figure out if I liked it or not because it was soo not what I expected…
I thought Mx274 was supposed to be grapefruit scented? I got a bit of grapefruit-ish smell in the beginning, but after dry down it was more of a mild choclatini type scent, less intense than MX135 and not as sweet but I definitively walked around smelling like chocolate…and the scent wasn’t covered by my normal perfume 
Am I the only one who noticed this? As far as I know you can’t custom order the scents on the Mx’s, so I can’t have ordered chocolatini and forgotten…
