Generally my experiments occur in doctors offices since I usually have appointments to 3 different specialists 3 times a week and my primary every 2 weeks so I know these people pretty well and they know me better than I’d like them to lol
I’m always very up-close and personal with each specialist so experimenting with them is pretty easy… no way to be out of range!
The Subjects:
Massage Therapist (MT): Discovered she’s a very bad guinea pig so she’s not included but she is part of the story. She’s very talkative, open and honest to begin with so I don’t even try to pick out differences with her. That would be next to impossible!
Session Time: 1 hour
Activity: Deep Tissue Massage
Chiropractor: Perfect test subject. He’s very profession, as any doctor should be, but he’s only a few years older than me, he’s good lookin, and usually on his game, so I figure what the hell…
Session Time: between 15 and 30 minutes
Activity: Complete Spine Adjustment
Physical Therapist (PT): Another chatty one but she’s more stand-off-ish. Strangely enough, I think she’s a little put off by my injuries and doesn’t want to touch me lol So I’m working on IO and IH with her. Not included in this experiment.
Session Time: between 30 and 45 minutes
Activity: Upper body range of motion/low impact strength training, muscle retraining
Primary Care Physician (PCP): Another perfect subject. Chatty but professional.
Session Time: between 30 minutes and 1 hour
Activity: General health reviews, consultations/referrals, follow-up care
This week I dosed up right before I left the house for each appointment. I always have MT immediately followed by an adjustment. Since I already know that the MT will not be effected in the least by mones I feel confident that my hour with her winds the dose down enough as to not upset the chiropractor, which is my main objective… especially since he’s the only male doctor I have.
I dosed 3 of ISb, 2 to the chest, 1 split to the wrists and 1 Instant Shine to the hair. I layered this with some pretty smelling body splash to tone down the neroli scent.
Chiropractics is almost intimate in itself. It’s hands-on bone moving so there’s no personal space. Anyway, he was upbeat and happy despite my complaints… odd. Usually he’ll slip write into med school talk and start explaining things to me about my condition but that was sort of a side concern for him lol So he adjusts my back and moves on to my neck, which is always fun ![]()
I’m laying on the table, eyes closed and he says, “When did you get this?” And proceeds to touch my eyebrow
Huh? Not that I minded, it was just unusual. I hadn’t had my eyebrow ring on in forever and he goes and touches it lol It gets better though! That was the first appointment this week. The second one same dosage, I’m layin on the table, eyes closed, he’s about to adjust my neck again and he’s talkin, while tellin a personal story he’s brushin little stray hairs away from my face…
Such strange behavior! But I believe those are hits.
Today with the PCP I wore Instant Shine, 3 to the chest and IH, 1 between the back of the wrists. The first thing she said was, “You look great! You look like you’re feeling much better!” She then referred me to a neurosurgeon lol She was very honest with me about her concerns with my latest CT scan results and thought it best to get a consult from another specialist.
Finally, I’m getting somewhere in my recovery and with the mones. Now, as physicians go, they should always be honest but I started to get the feeling that I needed a second opinion. I’m just really glad my PCP saw it too… at last! Anyway, I got the impression that the comments by the PCP were hits simply because I look like I haven’t slept in days lol
So as far as ISb goes, it seems to be working for me. Next week I’ll try to observe in more detail.
Any comments?
