Despite the fact that it doesn’t work, there is still data suggesting that we can infact sense mones, perhaps a different way.
I want it to work! But the more I read the more it is suggested that the VMO is an organ of hominids not humans…may be early humans. Like the little two and the appendix it will eventually be genetically repressed. Sure we can smell the musk and the scent it gives but the chemical messages do not get through. This may be what set us apart from animal’s altogether…Perhaps it may still work a little but it seems that during embryonic development the VMO becomes repressed and not developed. I wonder what natural selection caused such repression. I mean if it worked like in hogs I suppose we would not need to supplement our own scents. If we did could imagine what a bar fight would be like??? WOW. I am not saying that pheromones are not real. I believe in then 100% I just believe that most of us have deaf noses so to speak. In my experience they have done little but smelled nice. I really approached this with an open mind and systematic usage technique it has been at least 2 months of almost daily use, taking and occasional break to as a control day. But really there is no difference. Again Ammo getting the lots of compliments and I must admit I do like the smell A LOT. But I also get a lot of compliments from wearing Burberrys for men. I would like to see more studies done on the VMO, but I believe if it worked like it can work. Women would literally assume the position when smelling them. AHH and what a world that would be. 
Actually this information on the VNO has been known for sometime now. There are quite a few studies on it in the studies and abstracts section of the forum. However Scientists are currently studying and believe that humans and other species with non functioning VNO’s process pheromones through the main olfactory epithelium.
There is much more study needed in this area of pheromonal technology. Science has proven that certain pheromones do fire the neurotransmitters in the brain they just have not discovered the pathways as of yet.

I said this before but will say it again. Pheromones do not seem to affect 100%… I say around 70 to 80% females and 40 to 60% males. Why females more than males? I don’t know. It is probably because women put a lot more emphasis on emotions than men. In addition, Men are much more visual! All in all, it does work but not necessarily on all.
Since they have already proven its not functioning they are concentrating more on other parts of the olfactory system so I dont think you will see much more on the VNO in humans.
Even if the VNO was functioning humans are logic based primates so they would not assume the “position” solely on the influence of pheromones. I think to many people read the hype a lot of companies use to try to make people buy there products and they totally misunderstand what pheromones can do and what they cant do.
Pheromones just enhance, they make communication and interaction with others easier and more productive. The key word here is interaction. You still have to take action the pheromones wont do it for you.

I did not mean to strike nerve with anyone, it just seems that like much any successful species we are continuing to evolve and I fully believe that VNO did at one time work and it did cause a more of a “assume the position” response when it did work. I believe that it is an organ that evolved to ensure copulation among the species, but as it was pointed out we are logic based mammals. So as logic took over the VNO diminished as we were capable of ensure that our own species reproduced.
For me I am fascinated that we can communicate chemically, however I am not certain that the receiver is working still.
for me…I have no desire to slay women if you will. I only long to put the interest back into my love life with the woman I adore. We used to be so passionate loving, but life happens and interjects itself in your life in the form of children, conflicting schedules to take care of the children and ultimately exhaustion and separation and isolation. How much experimenting with it have you done, try being structured in how much you use and when, and be observant. If your perspective is that it’s scientifically impossible, test it in a scientific manner. Keeping in mind that your wife knows you and knows your signature so her response to the change may take time.
If TuTH is what you’re using, try two sprays to start, since you’re over 30 and already in a relationship. Try two shots a day for a few days, take a couple days off then try three, and repeat. Look for things in her body language. Observe if she’s more “touchy feely” than usual.
Please tell me that you didn’t tell her you were using the products, being consciously aware of a product that’s designed to effect us on a more instinctive and subconsious level can make a person SELF conscious and kill the effect she would have gotten if she were unaware of it’s use.
If it still doesn’t work for you, then fine. I was a doubter too. No, I didn’t experience the “Axe Effect” but I observed subtle but still noticeable changes in the behavior of people I interact with…not consistant, which supports that peoples sensitivity to the product can vary. But a large enough percentage of people in my life are effected, myself included that it’s been worth it for me.
So yeah, try a structured organized test of the product, I know you don’t want women other than your wife and that’s admirable, but try it out in public too just to see if it’s the product or if your wife happens to be one of those people that are insensitive to mones.
No its not totally correct to say that. Yes many pheromone companies have hyped up there products but no where does it say that TUTH will make a women assume the position. They dont hype things up here. You may see some hyped up reporting in the forum but not from the long time experienced users.
TUTH will arouse and help set the mood its really just as simple as that. However it can not make the kids stop yelling, the chores get done or cure exhaustion. Those factors are still a part of human existence and something you have to deal with. Sure if we laid around under tree’s all day eating mangos like our fellow primates we would probably react much more instinctively but thats not the case.

The VNO in humans does seem to be defunct. That said, there’s TONS of evidence showing that behavioral and emotional cues and triggers abound using our sense of smell. Keep in mind that nature does away with stuff we have no use for, and if our olfactory senses developed the needed ability, the VNO would gradually vanish. The VNO specifically performs the function of a neurotransmitter recepter that allows the transmission of direct neural cues between animals. It effectively a giant neuron that allows the slow wireless communication of basic functions concerning sex and survivability. These cues in animals are instinctual and almost absolute. They cant be thought through or rationalized. They are obeyed unless a cue of higher order replaces it. As humans, almost every aspect of our behavior has become more complex and multilayer-ed. We are detecting the presence of hormones and hormonal metabolites in others and our brain processes and creates the associated behaviors on a more cognitive level. Instead of simply being ordered to mate like a pig or a fox, and obeying as if the order was an internal function, our brain alters our emotional and cognitive responses to push us in that direction. It’s no longer a mechanical response like a pig kneeling down the moment she smells none. Humans are too complex for that sort of thing, and survivability would NOT favor that sort of system. Can you imagine society if mechanical and undeniable triggers such as those still existed? Evolution removed them to give us the chance to think through complex situations and possibly disobey when required. If a woman smelled none during a hunt and started rutting while a predator closed in, shed get killed most likely. We lost our VNO to give us the ability to think and process mating, respect and authority at a cognitive level because it was what needed to happen to survive. We didnt lose our ability to sense and process olfactory behavioral cues. We just lost the absolute requirement to obey them.
