Hi people! As the title says this was intended to be a journal on my experiences with the mones but customs and DHL prevented that. The fact is that my shipment of 1 TO-GO AMMO (x2) and TO-GO IS (x2) was seized in the customs of my country.
But the interesting fact is a thing with DHL that wants to charge me about $60 (total value with GC $33) to get ONLY the documents of my package (it’s only a paperwork fee!), then I have to go to customs and pay around 60% of taxes (if they ever give it to me, because colognes are complicated items for customs).
I’m trying to contact customs to see if there’s another way out, but I’m doubtful, DHL knows the rules very well. I’m REALLY mad with them, but REALLY!! I cant believe that they try to charge me the double of what I paid, but the ugly truth is that I’m not going to pay that amount…
It was good to try though, and nice to meet some of you in my intro!
I’ll keep trying but I don’t have much hope. Sure thing is that I’ll think twice in using DHL for low cost shipments…
