…wearing mones have taught me a few things.
I;ve felt on a daily basis my whole life that I need to communicate I’m not only a good person, but that’ I’m necessary to society. I’m sure everyone feels that need. Growing up, one way i learned to show that I’m of high social value was to cut others down. I found, If I made people laugh at others I would be seen as valuable. Deep inside I knew it was a temporary thing but It worked sometimes, so instead of analizing and seeing that it was only making me look weak in the long run, I adopted it as a habit and a part of my personality. I didn’t know any better. Most people don’t know any better to act differently than they do, or else they would change.
Now to the mones.
One is that mones can be like training wheels in a way. For instance, I’m wearing A314 a lot at work and people treat me with uber respect now I mean UBER…what I says matters and it effects other people deeply now…very strange… but every now and then I’ll “slip up” and be negative or harsh or just arrogant and people will look at me very confused ![]()
Like, they don’t understand, you’re so powerful and so cool why would you act this way!?! It’s really quite strange to see. I feel now I HAVE to be and project not a boring self, but my BEST self…because that’s the signature I’m giving off.
It’s like someone coming up to and say…listen wear this and people will think you are important, good, have boundries and respect yourself. BUUUUUT! You have to cut out all your childish, attention seeking bullshit to be congruent or people will think you’re weird and dismiss you, which will over time train you to come up with and identify a completley different set of behaviors that you call “your personality”
So I can see a light at the end of the tunnel who knows maybe a few months or a years from now, I won’t “need” mones to get respect, I’ll have adopted the behaviors in the process.
I think you can do this with all of the mones. IH lets say…when I wear it…I tend to open my eyes and look people directly for longer and my voice is earnest and sincere. Not that I didnt know how to be sincere before but it can reinforce you being sincere in different circumstances of which you wouldn;t be sincere in the past. ie. with picking up women…some guys might try to “fake it” so that if they get rejected it’s not “THEM” that gets rejected its this “fake” guy they are putting on.
All and All, this metaphor for training wheels is the most psychologically healthly way to view mones… lest I entertain the thought that one day I’m not able to get my hands on any and my life should suffer because of it.
Cheers ![]()
