Tried them out. Nothing stellar from IS yet that I’ve noticed,
But with TUTH, if I take more than one spray, my wife finds the smell very overwhelming. Even one spray is pushing.
She also says it smells like newborn babies. A good smell she tells me, but like a hundred newborns.
She is pregnant, perhaps that is why the smell is so overwhelming? I find it quite strong as well.
Would I do well to get 2x TUTH for more pheromone, less smell?
As far as results, one night I wore 2 sprays of TUTH and she was very eager for sex, didn’t want foreplay but just wanted to get done. She also couldn’t stop making out with me after we had sex.
Any advice, thoughts, stories to share? Is it normal for TUTH to smell so potent?
Yes, various body states can cause chances to response and perception of pheros - Pregnancy and time of the month are two of the most obvious.
Which could account for her greater scent sensitivity - Although some individuals are far more sensitive to begin with. There isn’t much you can do about that as no matter how strong the cover, they will soon smell the pheros through it.
As TUTH is in a light scent, 6% Neroli, I don’t think going for 2x will help at all because the scent strength doesn’t change. What you describe is much more like a direct response to the Androstenone and if one spray 1x is overpowering, 2x concentration will put you into OD. Instead, maybe stick with the one spray for a while, till she’s more used to it and then go-up a spray. Also, her responses might well change again after she’s given birth and her body chemistry settles down again.
What you describe is exactly what to expect from TUTH with an established and sexually comfortable partner. You could try steering it further with something like TAC, which helps relax and increases the playful/exploratory mood - or P83, which eases physicality.
Its interesting that you mention it’s the Androstenone that is causing the overwhelming scent. It almost seems as though just the neroli fragrance is very strong. Although she says only TUTH smells like babies, but my Instant Shine doesn’t even though they both have the Neroli fragrance, don’t they?
Is it normal for the fragrance to also be so potent? Because while IS is light, TUTH smells a lot heavier and muskier
The scent and strength is the same for both products - the heavier/muskier scent she’s getting is almost certainly the individual pheros in the mix and its most likely the Androstenone as it is in by far the greatest proportion in TUTH. IS contains different pheros, mainly TAA but no None - which accounts for her smelling it differently.
All the individual hero mixes modify Neroli in some way - which accounts for the differing scent responses to each product.
TAC you say, huh?
What dosage would you recommend, and would you add a scent to it or simply let it be masked by the TUTH?
What other mones does TAC go well with?
Go and look-up the long running TAC/Orgasm thread that’s always lurking not far off the top of Mens for a lot of useful info.
Stick with the standard 6% Neroli for any putative or experimone - any other scent will make the task of finding your best dose harder as you will limit the number of sprays you can use. Some of them don’t diffuse nearly as well either.
TAC goes with many mones - its quite liberating/playful, so maybe not the heavier status mixes but anything sexual/social, its brilliant.
So it seems as though 2 or 3 shots of anything just sends a really strong Neroli fragrance all over the place. It’s like cologne overload. How people manage to do like 3 or 4 sprays and combinations of other pheros when they smell this strong? One shot of Instant Shine to the chest and then covered by a shirt after it dries is enough to keep me smelling it and anyone who gives me a hug, but one or two shots to the neck and the entire room smells like Neroli! Is this normal?
Another note I should add is today we had supper with my wife’s family and I wore a single shot of IS to my chest.
I had forgotten about it but later realized while playing a board game, the entire table was very chatty, and two of them were trying to talk to me at the same time. Everyone seemed in a good mood. Possible effect from IS ?
Neroli at 6% is about the lightest scent and it should settle very light after around thirty minutes or so. Try applying it a bit earlier and let it settle.
IS on the chest is a strange one - You will be losing most of its effectiveness due to the clothes. TBH, applying under clothing is a tactic for very young guys (like teenagers) using very overt pheros like TUTH or IJ around similar aged girls who need to slow the diffusion a good bit to avoid outright OD. By 23, this should be much less of an issue and you should be getting your pheros out where they can diffuse. Socials should be used for maximum diffusion at any age though.
It may also be part of your scent problem - Different types of fibre can cause problems with pheros - They either trap them and they don’t diffuse properly, or they diffuse away at a much greater rate because they don’t bind to the surface. This can also lead to scent and phero buildup and smelly problems - esp with sexuals. This is why applying on clothes is at best unpredictable, so probably best avoided.
3 or 4 sprays is nothing! - with Neroli, I can easily use 18-20 sprays of a set of pheros in a mix and a cover scent quite reasonably - although I’ll be using a wide area of application that involves neck, throat, upper chest, wrists and forearms to help everything even out. I will be applying that some time before going out in order to let it settle though - but I have had some interesting “smack between the eyes” responses on the bus at times!
Haha I can only imagine the reactions on the bus!
I am amazed that you can use so many sprays without it being overt. Thank you for the tips regarding socials and diffusion, and regarding the 30 minute settling.
What cover scent(s) do you tend to use? I was thinking of ordering some Ammo because I read its cologne strength, but being married I am more interested in the social pheros than the sexual ones. I am not looking to attract a mate and the sexuals I only use with my wife.
So, what cover scent doesn’t contain -none? (Although I may wear some Ammo once in a while to shake things up depending where I go that day)
If one were to not use any cover scent; just the light neroli fragrance, would there be any downsides?
Sorry for all the questions, some of them may seem silly to you but I’ve never worn cologne nor tried anything like this before, the strongest stuff i use is Axe or Old Spice deodorant in the armpits.
And if one is to use either Neroli or any other cologne, how do they stand up with sweat? If I am to wear some at work, I tend to sweat a fair bit
If the neroli scent isn’t offensive to you then by all means go with it. I personally really like the scent. Neroli itself is said to have some relaxation qualities to it on its own. As far as mixing with sweat I don’t know as I am just starting out myself.
I also never wore cologne before starting with these products. I am digging the change up in the routine and it is actually helping me make some other much needed changes.
Amen brother. I know all about making changes. I won’t go into detail quite yet but it’s the reason I searched for a new hobby (and incidentally wound up here)! I feel like this is a small but exciting change.
I work in the trades so before long I should have some experience regarding sweat and pheros.
They say -none can have buildup and you shouldn’t wear it every day. Is the same true of the social pheros? I’ve been wearing IS every day since I bought it.
I wore it every day after I first got it for a little over a week. It is recommended you give yourself a couple days a week break with no 'mones and I finally just did this week. It is nice as I can see how it will help define a baseline for judging people’s reaction to the 'mones. Meaning are they being conditioned to have a certain response so that even when I am not wearing 'mones they still have the same reaction (Pavlovian response).
Yes, Neroli is fine on its own. Its an excellent diffuser.
The only thing with it is that it may not cover some of the more overt pheros for the full lifespan of an application and you will get some breakdown stench - but there is nothing to stop you topping-up a little social or IS to help keep it covered.
And yes, at its most general, it is a good idea to take a break occasionally. I try to take one day a week but it usually ends-up being more like one day every 2-3 weeks! :o
Similarly, a day-off and good wash/clean-up is an idea when changing between radically different phero signatures, simply to shift any buildup that might affect things.
So TUTH is just not working out so well for me.
I love the smell of Neroli; I like Instant Shine as light and citrus, and then TUTH smells to me like a slightly muskier citrus, if that makes sense. More serious scent.
I’ve tried 3 cover scents over TUTH; a light sporty citrus cologne, a medium toned woodsy/aquatic scent with floral/citrus undertones, and a heavy, spicy musk with woodsy/darker tones to it. Regardless, my wife still detects the predominant odor as “babies”.
She describes the scent of TUTH as the same smell as a newborn, immediately after they are born. She says it’s not a bad smell, but with TUTH, it’s as though someone handed her 100 babies in her face (her words not mine), and it’s far too overwhelming.
She has no such reaction to P102 and IS, so we know it’s not the Neroli.
While wearing a cover scent, I don’t even smell a HINT of TUTH, I just smell cologne. From start to finish.
After about 3-4 hours, she will only smell the cologne from a distance, but if she is near me (hugging or having sex or sitting together on the couch) she picks up the “babies” scent immediately.
Also, TUTH seems to have no effect on her other than that one time. But perhaps that is because of the overwhelming scent.
