Two New Fragrances: Coconut for Women & something super clean and fresh for Men

One is a nice coconut. It’s far more appropriate for women than men, except perhaps during the summer time or for those men that live near the beach or in tropical areas.

The other is a very simple, fresh cologne. Some might even call it exhilerating. It’s intended for male use.

If you like Cool Water, Pherlure, Unforgivable… all those very simple fresh and aquatic fragrances, you may like this.

The major factor I see being a benefit for this one is in the projection of pheromones, more the scent itself. It’s a very “clean”, almost transparent quality with great projection. Furthermore, it has very few resinous components (fewer than what Ammo has) that would keep certain pheromone molecules unduly close to the skin.

In fact, a major portion of this scent is made up of ultra-clean smelling “musks”. Musks are the molecules nature uses for at-a-distance scent based transmission of information (primarily for the identification & attraction of potential mates)

For those wondering, this brings us up to 6 in-house scents total.

Besides the above, we have:

The light Neroli (orange) one from the Instant line
The cologne strength used in Ammo currently,

and two also very recent ones:
Akuto for men, which may or may not be renamed or re-purposed
Chocolatini for women

My favorite is probably Akuto, which is fresh from afar and “dirty” up close (thanks to the amber and some other “dark” notes that stay closer to the skin).

Akuto is definitely not for everyone, though. It tends to elicit strong reactions. I expect up to half of the users here to hate it, with an equal number to love it. It’s not a very good “in between” fragrance.

Thankfully for men, whether you like it or not, the bulk of women will like it on you. We made sure to test for that. Most of the notes are very agreeable to the majority of women’s noses.

In fact, while I like smelling Akuto myself, I like the reactions I get from others even better. Few people ever notice, or rather, comment on what I’m wearing. They have made comments when I’ve worn Akuto (and to a lesser extent, the fragrance now used in Ammo). It’s different enough from most scents to “catch” people by the nose.

how does a person order these scents i do not see them in the store?

if you want them as a scent in a mix you already get here, you simply order the mix as is and then request the specific scent in the box they provide when your ready to check out. i ordered isexi, and then in the box i wrote " please use the chocolate for the scent cover". easy. unless your asking to JUST purchase the scent alone, Jas or Mharris will help you out there

Comme des Garcons has all these unusual frags… like their #71..

"The ultimate anti-perfume. The notes include dust on a hot lightbulb, bamboo, metal, electricity and lettuce juice… no lie!

But what does it smell like? Surprisingly, it’s a completely wearable scent; metal and electricity manifest as the invigorating smell of ozone just before a storm, and the combination of we-don’t-know-what makes for a familiar soapy freshness. Hot laundry right out of the dryer served up your clean, sexy Xerox machine"

Orrr…

“Odeur 53 notes
oxygen, flash of metal, fire energy, washing drying in the wind, mineral carbon, sand dunes, nail polish, cellulose, pure air of the high mountains, ultimate fusion, burnt rubber, flaming rock”

Orrrr… Avignon:

“It’s the scent of gothic cathedrals and Papal palaces, of tapestries imbued with centuries of incense. Of cold marble steps, holy relics and dark confessions.”

My own fave (as the result of a multitude of costly errors) is a leathery-tar-patchouli-incense-jasmin blend that is absolutely unique… only one bottle exists… which I blended about a year ago and it is only now starting to “relax”… stuff’s devastating, nothing in the store even appoximates it…

Too much stuff on the market is blahhh, conformist, no surprises… easily identified… oh yeah… that’s a moderately expensive male fragrance, end of converstaion… you want your “audience” to be thinking (or better, reacting with curiosity and talking to you) “I have never smelled anything like that, and I thought I knew them all”
