We all have flaws, your ahead of the game when you know what they are and can look at them with clarity. I didnt point out your statement as a judgement of you but of the conditioning we experience. Believe me I have plenty of conditioning of my own.
That’s conditioning though, its basically prejudice and we all are conditioned in some way by how we perceive what we learned, saw and experienced growing up.
You have to consciously stop and ask yourself is my assumption true. That’s the only way to break the conditioning and see with clarity.
Do all “beautiful” people have there way paved for them. Do they all not have to work ? No if you really look we both logically know thats not true.
Are there no “ugly” people who have easy lives or have had there way paved for them ? Hell I know a ton of them, we both know that its not logically true.
You have to ask yourself the same question we are asking about criminals
Are the “beautiful people” beautiful because they are successful or are they successful because they are beautiful ? Its all in how you perceive them and the emotion they evoke in you.
My girl V is stunning, and I mean stunning and she is in a crappy place right now. Can’t seem to get anything good going. Never really mattered how good looking a person was, its tough all over.
Have another girlfriend who is a Hollywood A-Lister and this girl is beyond looks. She is going through some tough times too. Always in the news, always people saying she is bad and wishing her bad. Its based on her press. She’s going through a tough time and will pull herself out of it. Looks can be a curse to some people.
Looks can get you some perks, like free drinks, a man lifting your heavy stuff, but they don’t make your real problems any easier.
It’s as difficult for a pretty girl or handsome guy to quit smoking, learn a skill, deal with difficult family and figure out how to have a good relationship as it is for someone average looking.
