update III: Beware of Instant Honesty

PheroQuirk (January 3, 2006):
“in my case i have found out the hard way, several times, that alcohol and late-night email posting don’t mix for me… let’s not even talk about when beta-Androstenol was involved ”

PheroQuirk (January 4, 2006):
“…so far with betanol and alpha-beta Androstenol mixes I have only seen people speak frankly of others and not heard their brutally frank personal opinions of me. but i suppose most of the time i have had on some none, Androsterone or A314 at least left over from the previous day,…”

PheroQuirk (May 30, 2006):
“…am thinking plenty of TAH/L, moderate amounts of copulins, light A314, lots of Shine/TAA, go easy on the beta-Androstenol (!) but plenty of Alpha Androstenol should be fine. some P75,78,79 and T1. Androstadienone in moderation.”

PheroQuirk (June 5, 2006):
“…I would be very careful about exposing yourself to too much Instant Honesty in a job interview. Not that honesty isn’t a good thing but, when it comes to discussions about alternative offers and compensation, you may find yourself disclosing more than you intended. ”

PheroQuirk (July 16, 2006):
“…different vibe to beta-Androstenol beta-Androstenol = truth drug, compelled to blurt things out 'why did i just say that but also intimate, intense bonding, it’s v important we talk now aspect…”

PheroQuirk (August 6, 2006):
“…Make sure you are prepared to deal with unusual situations though, partic if beta-Androstenol is involved. I had a girl (woman really, in her early 40s but looking good for it - she still had a fun playful attitude) that I had met at the bar with her friends ten minutes previously start crying and tell me that she had just broken up with her lover two days ago and was pregnant but he didn’t know it. Comforted her and by the end think she felt better (if surprised) for having gotten that off her chest - but what a wonderfully different world one can cross over into with pheromones and experimenting with different social behaviours. (I was experimenting with cold reading a little). She seemed more or less sober by the way; think her friends were quite surprised!..”

PheroQuirk (August 15, 2006):
“…Be very careful. I suggest avoiding all forms of email and text messaging with a beta-Androstenol/ingested ethanol combo!…”

PheroQuirk (August 15, 2006):
“…Yes, I have worn heavier-than-intended beta-Androstenol in interviews. Great for bonding and learning stuff they didn’t want to mention upfront. Personally not immune to its effects even after all this time so did myself reveal some info about salary and bonus that ended up hurting me a little. Not a whole lot, but more than I intended to.”

PheroQuirk (February 7, 2007):
“…yes… of course once you have gotten to know a person at that level a three month relationship might seem in some ways like it has been a year and extricating oneself might prove more painful to both sides than if one had avoided pheromones. beta-Androstenol and the other empathetic 'pheromones are not without a downside.”

PheroQuirk (March 4, 2007):
“…The compulsive-sharing aspect of betanol but not the deepest darkest am I really telling you this. Talking about art, movies, the collective unconscious, upbringing etc. Like weirdly locked in rapport-building mode even at the cost of losing a little attraction. Neither ‘I feel like I have known you for years’ nor ‘I am falling in teen love with you’ but certainly a sense of utter comfort…”

PheroQuirk (April 16, 2007):
“…There is a compulsive sharing, bonding thing going on also - not as intense as betanol, but kind of compulsive…”

PheroQuirk (June 17, 2007):
“…I certainly agree with the comparison to betanol - at 25 mcg]( Microgram - Wikipedia ) there is an aspect of compulsive sharing to it. But yes - maybe more exchange of personal opinions and experiences without the emotional intensity of betanol…”

PheroQuirk (June 24, 2007):
“…Be careful with Shine + alcohol. Shine makes one a little oblivious to social cues and this can have negative consequences when combined with too much alcohol.

Also betanol+shine+alcohol+email/sms= potentially disastrous combination…”

PheroQuirk (August 17, 2007):
“don’t wear anything to an job interview you don’t already know and understand well. caution with instant honesty (self effects) and taf…”

PheroQuirk (December 3, 2007):
“…Really discovered nothing bad about betanol OD Pharmacodynamics - Wikipedia ? OD on betanol, apply some spaceland and go to a bar or party with lots of booze and watch the track the conversation takes. If mischievous you could direct it towards certain obvious topics and see what happens.”

PheroQuirk (December 9, 2007):
“The point of all that is this: rarely does a drug have two isomers that are both “good,” just with different effects. Usually one is more ideal, while the other one sucks. I’m wondering if the androstenols]( Instant Openness – Ice Breaker Pheromone for Men - Alpha A314 ) are the same way.

It’s an interesting analogy, but that hasn’t been my experience. They both do useful but distinct things (as summarised excellently by Visionary).

Overall Alpha Androstenol has a stronger intrinsically attractive vibe and is generally much safer to OD]( Pharmacodynamics - Wikipedia ) on, particularly if alcohol is involved. Read some of tacitus’s posts regarding betanol and ‘excess shit on the brain’ - that lines up v much with my own experience.”

PheroQuirk (December 13, 2007):

the major way you can screw up is by wearing a too sexual/aggressive mix in the wrong context when she isn’t ready for it. so a none/Edge overdose can ruin peoples’ perception of you semi-permanently almost independently of how you behave (and the self-effects are likely to get you deeper into trouble).

I haven’t had any experience of wearing a friendly mix (eg Androstenol, Instant Openness) and screwing things up - unless I didn’t steer it right (eg talking too much or revealing things I shouldn’t due to combined effects of betanol+alcohol)...”

PheroQuirk (May 6, 2008):
“…you might have a cooler vibe with a little TAC, but I don’t think it will be anything like as intense as betanol or as steady as Androsterone…”
