Lets say I peeled off the label of an empty old Instant Openness togo bottle and planned to fill it with something else. What is the most effective way/product to clean the bottle and the atomizer to remove the scent and the lingering pheromones without damaging the atomizer?
Is it even that fragile? I have no idea…
I use alcohol to clean old atomizers: fill 'n soak for a week and spray out the contents. It will clear out most of the scent. However some scents soak into the plastic and never totally disappear (glass is better in this respect). Probably not a problem with the light scents used in Goto product. Androstenone is hard to wash out as well.
ive discovered, its almost imposible to get rid of the scent once its seeped into the plastic like gegogi mentioned, even glass atomizers have plastic spray tubes that retain the old scent
its better to know which scent will go into which bottle, and keep it that way, otherwise buy very cheap plastic atomizers in bulk off ebay if you want to experiment with alot of products and scents and if you dont want to spend alot of cash
thanks guys, i figure i have this empty bottle anyway, i might as well try it out to see if it can be “de-everythinged”. I’ll let you know if I find something that works particularly well.
