Cool idea, will never happen.
It will cost too much to build and setup. There is too much risk of damage from storms and rouge waves. Also without some time of Floating international airport, travel to and from them will be difficult. Plus they wouldn;t produce much to make it cost affective to move any buisness other then ones for the people living there.
Now put them on giant stilts like the jetsons and make floating cars and we are all good. LOL
I would question someones sanity if they do actually believe it would happen. Not in our life time anyway
Rogue waves and storms, yup =/. Flying cars: exist. They just cost as much as a high end sports car is all ($100,000 plus)… and the governments haven’t created virtual highways in the sky yet.
If you want a cool video to watch, watch Zeitgeist. Even if you totally disagree with everything, it’s well worth your time.
Still, the day we stop dreaming and imagining, is the day the fate of our race will be sealed.
With current technology we could build a tunnel+bullet train that could take you to the other side of the world in a couple hours. (I think the speed was around 5000 miles per hour). Magnetic, and frictionless.
Zeitgeist: been there and done that 
Your thoughts on Zeitgeist? I know that any religion can be torn apart if you get right into it, but that doesn’t mean that the teachings or philosophies aren’t good to live by.
I have my own idea of what is right and wrong, my own rules, and I live by them.
As to a higher power, we all want to believe there is some sort of God and afterlife, even I do. Whether there is or isn’t doesn’t matter to me. I’m going to forge my own path, live my life its fullest, do what’s right, and make things happen for myself. I don’t feel the need to beg a spirit being to do these things for me.
That was a bit sidetracked o.O but they provided lots of evidence for everything in the videos. I was easily swayed into believing what they said.
P.S. If you track religion back a step from Egypt, a lot of it is based on the Sumerian beliefs. Basically, there were these aliens that ruled over them. Good stuff.
