It seems that vocal training and all kinds of bodywork are related.
As part of my understanding of design and creativity, I have long believed that style and grace created a sense of beauty far beyond form and function. Style being not fashion, but the manner in which something is done and, grace as an effortlessly balanced expression of proportion. All of which would be encompassed in the dynamics of sounds and movement.
In another related and very interesting thread;
PheroQuirk quoted: “Jack Lemon in full drag, marvels at Marilyn Monroe as she wiggles her way through a train station. He exclaims that she is like “jello on springs””
Now if I could just remember where I read that prolonged intonation of very low frequencies increased testosterone levels …
Which reminds me, I’ve been meaning to get a digeridoo. I think I’m going to go do that.
See ya!
OoohYahhh
BTW: I could not find the train station scene from Some Like It Hot. So y’all just going to have to settle for this.
