Well, my parcel containing Instant Sexiness B, MX135 and Instant Openness (freebie!!) had arrived and I was pretty eager to try it out.
PI/w and IO
Today I met up with a friend from uni for a long (~3 hours) train journey to see another mutual uni friend. Now I do like this girl (let’s call her Jane), but we’ve been travelling a lot together recently and I always seem to run out of things to say. I’d tried straight primal with her before, to see if it would help keep conversation flowing - but it didn’t have much of an effect, so I figured I’d layer on a generous application of Instant Openness too:
2 Sprays to the neck
1 to the chest
1 split between the forearms
And there was probably a little IS/b residue on the back of my jumper from the day before!:o I know it’s probably not best to wear the primal when testing out something new, but it really makes me feel happy when I’m wearing it - which I felt like I needed today LOL. Plus, the Do Pheromones Work blog said PI could amplify the effects of other mones, which I’m all for!
So this morning: I was shattered from the night before and the train was pretty early - meaning I wasn’t really up for talking myself, so I wasn’t exactly matching the signal of what I was wearing… After a quick hug, Jane gave me a really odd look - as though something about me had changed but she couldn’t put her finger on it. During the journey, I noticed she made more of a conscious effort than usual to fill the gaps in conversations. But I suspect she may have shared my anxiety about the journey, so this effort might not have had anything to do with the IO. But I kept catching her shooting me sneaky glances; as though she knew something about me had changed but she wasn’t sure about what exactly. If I caught her eye she’d look away, quite shyly. This is completely out of character for her! I’m pretty sure she was being affected, although I’m not sure I’d call it a hit.
I suspect I might have been wearing a bit too much, plus my sleepiness wasn’t helping anything at all lol.
PI and IS/b
So this account is from yesterday (sorry about the lack of chronological order!). An old school friend invited me to visit her at uni. I knew she had lots of guy friends, so figured this was the perfect opportunity to test drive the IS/b before unleashing it at uni (my intro thread Big hello from England! gives a long winded explanation of my motives there:o). I applied the primal, then squirted ~5 sprays of IS/b on my body, before adding 1 to the back of my jumper. I wore a light cover scent of the Body Shop neuroli perfume.
I had to take a rush hour tube journey not long after putting all this stuff on, so quite a few guys were exposed at a short range. I must say I got quite a few quizzical/puzzled looks from the guys around me (ranging in age from early 20s to 50s, I’m 19). A few even did a double take, I think they found the pheromone message… confusing? Maybe? On a slightly less packed tube line, two guys (30s) were definitely checking me out, although looking away shyly if I met their gaze. They both had a sort of bizarre curiosity to their stare… which was strange.
Even without pheromones, I tend to get a fair amount of attention from guys on (non-packed) tubes - usually just smiling, but sometimes making conversation too. I noticed that while I still got attention from these kinds of guys (normally in mid 20s) a couple seemed way more happy to get into my personal space. Leaning unusually close when passing me… I seemed to be more approachable.
When I do meet up with this friend, let’s call her Jenny, she acts completely normally with me. When I first meet her supposedly friendly (female) housemates, they’re initially very standoffish. But when we went out for lunch and they’d sat near me for a while, they started to make an effort in making conversation, and were perfectly nice. I’m not sure if that had something to do with the IS or not, I just found it sort of odd. There was also definite flirting from the waiter, but it was different to the sort of flirting I usually get. He kept throwing me little smiles and asking me (in particular) if everything was ok. When I nearly bumped into him at one point, he sort of guided me out of the way!:o I’m used to occasional casual flirting with waiters, it was just the type of flirting which seemed different.
By this point I was regretting trying out the IS/b today, since her guy friends weren’t going to be around much. But we did happen to run into them and I noticed two of them stared at me for an unusually long time after being introduced, but didn’t make any attempt to talk. One of the girls they were with was definitely an alpha female and when she addressed me it felt a bit like she was talking to someone’s younger sister. She wasn’t exactly patronising me, but… bleh I can’t really explain. It was weird, though - I’m not usually spoken to like that, ever. It wasn’t bad though lol.
On the way back home, when the conductor asked to inspect my ticket he was really nice about it. He told me not to bother showing him all the different parts, since he didn’t want to disturb my ‘lunch’ (it’s about midnight and I’m munching a sandwich lol). It was really quite sweet, since the conductors can often be really fussy - but he may have just been a nice guy!
Bleh - I have a couple more incidents to report, but I’m tired and it’s showing since what I’ve written is pretty rambly and poorly organised (sorry!). If you got this far, thanks very much for reading - any comments or advice would be appreciated! But lol I’d better get to bed…
