Memory phero’s? Not sure which ones you mean… You mean the ones that increase focus & concentration? That would be TAF, a few P’s as well but TAF is the main one

As far as I know there are no pheromones that increase memory. Are you referring to the memory response to pheromones ? This is different then a “memory pheromone”

Abstract

When female mice are mated, they form a memory of the pheromonal signal of the male with which they mated. Our research objective was to determine the neural mechanisms underlying learning and memory by employing a convenient model of pheromone-induced olfactory memory (pheromonal memory). Formation of pheromonal memory depends on the association between mating and exposure to pheromones. Synaptic plasticity involving this memory occurs in the accessory olfactory bulb (AOB), depending on vaginocervical stimulation at mating. The vaginocervical stimulation at mating reduces the dendrodendritic feedback inhibition of principal neurons (mitral/tufted (MT) cells) in the AOB and enhances their cell activity. The enhancement of activity induces on these plastic changes in dendrodendritic synapses, which in turn enhance GABA-mediated inhibition of MT cell activity. This “self-inhibition” of MT cells activity in response to pheromonal signals of the partner can disrupt its signals at the AOB thereby preventing the signals from reaching the central brain. The formation and maintenance of pheromonal memory is based on this inhibition mechanism.

Hey Tisha, I think what he’s talking about is the residual effects of pheros.

In other words, suppose I wear A314 at 2 drops for 5-10 days straight at work, then one day I stop wearing it BUT people still treat me the same way as if I had it on. THAT’s what he’s asking, I think.:o

Also, A314 has a memory type effect where if you wear 10 drops you can permanently “burn” an image into people’s minds that they’re not good enough to be around you and they start avoiding you. This what Catlord said but I don’t feel like looking for the thread.

I’m curious about this as well because I’m trying to achieve this effect in one of my mixes. I’m pretty sure there are pheros that do this…in fact I believe IH could be considered a “memory” phero because the bonding effect it causes can be long lasting (at least it worked that way for me).

Honestly, I imagine that this would apply to just about every pheromone, as long as you made a great first impression. It is very hard to change them, and if you make one strong enough to be lasting, I don’t see why people would want to treat you differently.

Some are certainly more prone to make you memorable. I used to wear TE while meeting with coeds in my office and, if they were attracted, TE seemed to really burn me into their minds. One woman later told me after the first session she was surprised couldn’t stop thinking about me and ended up touching herself when she went to bed that night. She figured out an excuse to visit me several times daily and even wore special undies for me.

Realize this works best for early impressions. Once they get used to your signature, you need to vary and rotate to keep them bothered and curious.

Well yes you can make a impression but the signals your sending stop once the pheromone is no longer present so while you may have made a great first impression and they may retain some of those impressions for a while once that signal stops those feelings can and will diminish unless your giving them as natural reason to feel them. By this time hopefully you have made other impression on the person that will help retain there interest in you.

To say that the signals remain after you no longer wear a product is to imply that they change you in some way and pheromones do not work this way. Remember pheromones work to just signal they do not change who you are.

Now this is not to say that once you stop wearing them suddenly a person you interested will no longer be interested. There had to be some other form of attraction for the signal to work. Pheromones are designed to enhance that natural attraction and to make expressing those feelings more noticeable and more frequent.
