It been said that certain pheros have a “momentum” effect meaning they continue to work on subjects even after you’ve left their presence. Can anybody confirm , deny or suggest any possibilities?
I can only speak from my own experiences. In my personal experience, certain pheros have what I’ve been calling a ‘memory’ with the people who’ve been affected. I’ve seen it where it affected them once and they acted as though they were still affected the next time (or 2) after the initial affect even when I was phero free around them again.
It depends on the pheromone really. The body gives off so many and scientists are learning more and more each day.
There are many different kinds and they go into categories of sorts.
Signalers - Most pheromones here are signalers meaning they cause a short term behavior change.
Re leasers- These are powerful attraction pheromones that cause rapid attraction with little duration.
Primers - these work more slowly over time
Sex pheromones- these attract and arouse. They give the mating signal
Appeasement pheromones these calm comfort connect give feeling of well being.
Information Pheromones- These tell something about you. Your male or female, etc etc… These leave the only lasting impression out of the group IMO.
You also have alarm pheromones, Territorial pheromones and Aggregation Pheromones but these have not been studied in humans much and are mostly seen in animals. We probably have them but they have not been isolated and identified yet.
That’s part of the pheromone research that is going on with many of the putative molecules that are tested and reported on. Learning what kind of responses people are getting. The more detailed the report the easier it is find a possible category and determine if they are viable molecules to use in a consumer formula.
