Hello, first post here. Found this site through a thread at Love Scent where someone asked opinions on your products, gave a list, and asked for permission to post a link. Of course, the permission was denied, but a websearch on the most prominent name, “Instant Jerk” brought the Androtics store to the top of the list.
At first, I was put off by the “instant” moniker of the products, thought it was more of that advertising hype that a lot of the pheromone ads contain. But I do use A314 on a regular basis and after reading here at the forum, I think that MHarris is sincere and dedicated to his research, and also one on the leading edge of pheromone technology. So I just ordered a bottle of “Instant Shine” and the experimental TAF.
I’m a pudgy 46 year old white male who has been using pheromone products since the late 1970s or early 1980s. My first product was a musk cologne called “Andros,” which I bought from an adult company called “Adam and Eve.” Not really understanding mones back then, I would wear it often but never noticed a reaction from anyone other than my mom, who once remarked that my cologne was really good. Not the target audience I was going for. The stuff was so strong smelling, musk-wise, that I could only wear a couple of dabs behind the ears. I would often get apprehensive thinking I had too much cologne on.
In the mid '80s, I saw an infomercial for Realm. Ordered it, and found it did what they claimed, helped with my attitude about myself. I even got asked out by a couple of women, though a bit more masculine types than I like. Still, I liked the attention from them.
Sometime in the late '90s, and still gullible for the hype, I bought a bottle of stuff that I no longer remember the name of. I still have it, but the ink has washed off the label due to minor spillage. Another heavy musk smelling product of which two dabs would make me very apprehensive. Worse reaction I’ve gotten to date was while wearing the stuff, when I caught a guy trying to pick my pocket in a nightclub. He kept coming back to challenge me several times instead of fading into the crowd.
I now know that other than Realm, those products were likely high none products.
Love Scent products were the first ones that worked for me, and partially due to their forum. I can only use Edge in small doses and combined with other products, and I’ve given up on NPA for the time being. Don’t think much of Altar Ego either. None makes me nervous and irritable.
Products like WAGG, SOE, and my favorite, Chikara are more along my lines. When LS introduced A314 there, I picked that up and use it daily. Usually 2 - 4 drops with a spray of Chikara for work. I sometimes add a drop or two of A1 away from work.
My expectations have changed with the results I’ve seen. Gone is the hype beliver of women spontainously jumping your bones. I now enjoy the respect I get from coworkers, who seem to look at me like I have more authority and ability than I feel I actually have. Though the mones help conquer the feelings of inadequacy too. I get a lot of sly smiles from women now, though the majority of them are not as attractive as I’d like. But due to my physical condition right now, I realize that all can’t be Catherine Zeta Jones types. And I have a sushi lunch date set up with a woman from work who’s in her early 20s and a real cutie.
Anyway I think I’ve found what I’m trying to achive for the most part, respect, confidence, and attractiveness. The jumping the bones part would still be nice but I have a better understanding of how things work now. So I’m mainly into mad scientist mode now, trying new products, which fortunately Androtics has a lot of. And unfortuantly for my overloaded credit cards. (Any chance of a pheromone to attract money? 
)
I hope I’m not considered a turncoat for joining up here as I haven’t forsaken the other forum. I think there is room enough for both places and hope there is no animosity between the two companies.
