As I was going to order me some Instant Openness and Instant Honesty, I noticed there was a dosage thing… as in a “strength”? What is that about?
I’m just wondering what I should order?
As in what is the effect of “Regular” “Double” for Instant Openness and “Regular”, “Double” and “Quadruple”?
Mind you this is the first time I buy these products so I have no idea what they’re effect will be on me… ?
I usually start with the smallest bottle available in the standard dosage.
This has several advantages - it reduces the chance of me having a large bottle of something that does not agree with me, or the chance of needing to dilute a “too strong” product, it allows me to find the right number of sprays for my needs, and it allows me to budget to try a larger number of different products. If you order anything other than the standard dosage, this makes your order “custom” and can cause delays before you receive your order. Waiting bad.
I have strong responses to these products, often at very low dosages. Too often, I find I need LESS than one spray for the result I want - so I need to reduce the concentration. Using “dabs” is less precise than sprays, I think, so I end up diluting the stuff with perfumers alcohol, dipropylene glycol (check out the options available here: 30 mL Bottle :: Mixing Supplies :: Androtics Direct/SmartMones when you buy an ‘empty’ blue 30 ml bottle).
The neroli-added options have been discussed as a “slow difusion” matrix - but I’m not entirely sure whether the “light” neroli has the slow difusion effects. I think it’s primarily the strong neroli option that works the best to make the effects (that are sometimes diminished in a couple hours) last longer still.:o

Go with Regular. The regular strength product is the standard amount recommended. Extra strength means a much higher concentration of pheromones. Instant Honesty in low doses is great for bringing a feeling of relaxed comfort to a situation. In higher doses, it can be used to encourage others to reveal secrets. Sometimes, you really don’t want to hear everything a person has to say about their experiences in 2nd grade and how they cheated on their taxes last year and how they secretly hate bald people etc. If you get extra strength, you are stuck using high doses. If you get regular strength, you can use one spray for a light effect, and 4 or 5 to get a much stronger effect. If you decide you like playing detective on a regular basis, you could then go for the higher concentration.
For example, I usually add one spray (regular dose) of Instant Honesty to most mixes I wear. I rarely use it as a truth serum, but when I have, I’ve used about 6 sprays if I remember correctly. Of course, you are free to do as you like. This is just my advice.

When you use a regular strength product, it’s a thousand times easier to discover your “sweet spot” for that specific pheromone. I ordered the regular strength instant honesty in a togo bottle, and then discovered my dosage pooint was at 4 sprays, when using it as a stand alone. So for my next order, I know I can order double strength, and use two sprays when I use it as a stand alone, or one spray when mixing. BUT, if I had a lower dosage to match my chemistry, say at one spray, then it would have been nearly impossible for me to figure out the dosage for that if I was using 4x strength.
Regular strength is definitely best if you aren’t familiar with the product, and your according dosages yet. Once you know your sweet spots, then it’s okay to test around with strength changes.
The primary advantage of multiple strength levels is so you can get more effect, and be able to wear higher dosages without increasing the cologne smell.(Neroli, ammo scent, game scent, etc.) And also easier for making home brew mixes in proper strengths.

He’s right its the only way to find out your sweet spot. Then if you like the product and find you need more then 4 sprays to get to your sweet spot then you should get a higher dose later. Suppose your sweet spot is 1 spray of regular strength. It would be a pain to try to sprsy half a spray on yourself. Plus I find it better for when I mix products because I always go a little lower then my sweet spot when I use more then 2 or 3 products.
