What if I used the 5,000 mcg spray?

Replying GHOST, well, I don’t know why I had that idea, I posted that post when I was using P74 (about 3 sprays on each of my temples).

EDIT: I had the decimal wrong…

5000 mcg is 5 milligrams. The pheromone would not stay dissolved in the solvent at that concentration, I don’t think. Does 5000 u g per spray even exist? Androstenone is a powder with a peak solubility at less than 15 milligrams per mL. A TOGO would have about .125 mL per spray. That’s 8 sprays per mL. So I don’t know that a solution of -eNone at 2 mg per spray would even be poss. I think the point here is moot. I don’t think Androtics can actually sell you the spray for your personal use. I think the pricing is for pheromone concentrate (undiluted) for wholesale use to selected clients. I think they’ve said that before when asked. It would be decanted and diluted for people with the requisite fragrance labs and equipment/skill.

Ha! I can talk with technical. If this is technically possible, we can try it and put it out as an extremely limited release MX to the, say, 6 people who promise to use it up and provide a detailed report. Which would probably be you, mobo, and the few people on this thread.

Thanks for the hypothesis, Tisha!

… but what if we DON’T know what will happen?

Here at APR, we try to OPTIMIZE for a “less is more” strategy.

But, we also opt for a “test everything and support those crazy dreamers willing to walk the fringe” strategy, too. Because, honestly, even though we’re almost a decade in, pheromones are still a protoscience. In this case, I’d personally opt for the latter and see what happens. In all, we don’t assume anything. We watch and listen to the feedback.

**Less is More:
*Pheromones, like their internal twins, hormones, are chemical messengers. They are the hand that go to flick the switch. You only need so much electricity to fire the signal to switch on the light, and likewise, you’d only need so much ‘pheromone’ (chemosignal) to flick the ________ switch.

*-- left blank, because you could fill in the myriad social, personal effects you can achieve when wearing supplemental pheromones. This switch could be attraction. It could be deference. It could be wooziness. It could be a sense of superhuman powers. Point is, it could be anything.

If 30 mcg of P83 is enough to turn the switch, then the other 4970 mcg of P83 used to activate the same switch was, well, good product wasted, don’t you think?

Reading through this, I think we have the necessary elements to make this work. We haven’t done it in a very long time, and our last customers of this concentration were for a Canadian university in the mid 2000s, before I was here.

We’ll note it for a future release/hump day special!

Yes I agree and the added 4970 would just burn the switch out or blow the fuse.

High doses have been tested with many of the putatives. When I am assuming something I will usually indicate I am assuming. I am not in this case. They do not produce positive results in high doses and while I understand what ADR does very very well in the past they didn’t steer people wrong in testing.

Pheromones are costly and can have adverse effects in high dosages.

Tisha

This report had one of the highest (certainly not the highest, but 200 is pretty high) reports for P83. No adverse affects, apparently. I found anything over 50 to be OD. Made me sleepy. I didn’t see any obvious benefit with 62.5 vs. 3 sprays of 12.5 mcg. More sprays just seemed a waste. What can I say. The science juggernaut I guess sometimes cannot be stopped. Good luck Dr. Jekyl. Look out for Mr. Hyde!

It is the reason why I was asking about 5mL of P83 to be tested instead of 30mL which is indeed a waste (or could be too hazardous due to the tendency of using too much because there’s plenty in a 30mL bottle… despite of trying to only test the 5000mcg dosage).

And different people have different biochemical responses (studied Biochemistry when I took my Degree in Biotechnology), therefore, I am thinking if I can make my own research on the putative by being my own test subject.

Don’t worry about me, I know how much is too much, 5mL of 5000mcg is a good supply for a research to be done in a personal-sized lab.

In terms of something like Suxameth. Cl, it’s administered parenterally, so it could overload the acetylcholine receptors. With carbon monoxide, you can block oxygen transport by hemoglobin. With mones, I’d think the body has homeostatic mechanisms to prevent GABA receptors from being OD. I’ve used 62.5 mcg of P83. It can get quite sedating, so I could conjecture it acts like an allosteric modulator. However, it’s not a knockout gas. There is probably a threshold beyond which no further mcg concentration produces any increased affect. Why not buy the 100 mcg/per spray 5 mL? If you don’t get any benefit from 1-5 sprays (500 u g), there’s little logic in going to 5000 per spray.

My formal education in this is limited to one semester college biology. Even though you don’t have as much testing experience as some of the veteran advanced users, if you can proffer a hypothesis for a straight linear response (1000 u g is ten times more powerful–some kind of Uber Sex spray–than 100 u g), I would find that interesting. We do have a user or two with medical training, and they often have interesting feedback. You seem like you’re approaching this intelligently. The only time I question the wisdom of some posts is when they have scientific inaccuracies misstated as fact. They have years of pheromone usage experience, but they get confused by the electronegativity of Oxygen, perhaps due to educational gaps. I don’t know. I want to respect their opinion, but they seem baffled by a Van Der Waals radius. Much of this stuff is pretty basic high school organic chem. Not even freshman college. In other words, I can have ten years pheromone experience, but if I don’t have a science degree, I’m not a scientist and don’t represent my self as an expert. I keep an open mind. Good luck.

Thank you for your suggestion, monesmadedoit. I concur. A 100mcg dose for small-scale testing sounds decent.

Next month I’ll give the idea a go, currently I am testing another product from some other site to make comparisons with the ones bought from AD.
