What is your favorite Androtics scent?

For my own sniffing, I prefer Neroli. However, I have had women in my life say it is “cloying”, “overpowering” and had many comments that I smell like sweat, from all the consumer line. Even when covered with different colognes.

So for the smell for to others, I choose Game. It smells like, well soap. Actually, I think Game smells closer to a dryer sheet.

game running away with it, despite the whining of a few

[Didn’t want to bump my own thread, so I’ll Copy/Paste here to get some input]]

Since I just recently hit reporter status, I looked deeper into the Experimone section of the store that I previously avoided, figuring that it was all too advanced for me to bother with.

While clicking around, I came across the different scents that could be applied to each one. Game, Akuto, Chocolatini, etc. Not suprisingly, most of them interest me simply because I can’t tell what they smell like by reading their name, or a brief description of the fourm.

So, my hypothetical questions:

  1. Is it possible to get a “scent testing kit” made? No pheromones, just a to-go sized bottle of each fragrance.
  2. If so, how much would it cost (doesn’t need to be exact, an estimate will do)?

If I were to put a rather large sum of money into the so called “Chemistry Kit” of pheromones, I’d like all the scents to match and not conflict. Obviously, I’d like this scent to be one I personally enjoy, and one that others I commonly surround myself with enjoy as well. If figure the most efficent way to do this is by having only the scents, with no pheromones to interfere with how people react.

Thanks in advance to anyone who offers any input!

Spraying Akuto (from the raw power test pack), I realized it smells very very sweaty. Like the armpit of a lumberjack. I didn’t want to ruin it for anyone, but I think it’s good to be informed about these things. Besides, some women like lumberjacks.

well, then I am pleased to inform you that the raw power test pack is not akuto.

grapefruit. (:

I don’t know how to vote, as i haven’t test the Akuto yet, so far I have only tried the Game and Neroli scent, to which I don’t like both.

I feel not so confident with the smell when I wear these scent (game/neroli). However when I am wearing my favorite cologne, whether with or without phero, I feel a boost of confidence.

Spicy? lol wtf?

I must say I’ve only smelled game, neroli and “spicy” (apparently), and while I love the smell of neroli I can’t help but love smelling game. Mmm

Just a thought. Perhaps you should put this in the store section of the forum so perhaps Jacob or Steve or Amy or Mick will see it

Seconded!
Yum.

I like that sweet scent of the new Raw Power test pack (starting with MX311) very much, at least if it’s as lightly as in that pack. Might easily become overpowering if it’s stronger I guess.

I hated the Game scent for quite a long time, but it’s grown on me. Now I actually like it, at least if it’s not too strong (it’s okay in Ammo and MX292, too strong in MX203).

Neroli is the most versatile of them all - it’s relatively weak - so easy to cover - and you don’t feel like having a scent OD when dousing yourself with quite a lot of sprays of IO, IS, IG… I’ve got a bottle of Meo-Est some days ago in Grapefruit scent - that one is great too and has the same advantages as Neroli. Maybe Androtics should consider selling the Instant line with this scent, too!

I’ve never tried something with Akuto.

TUTH doesn’t smell any different from neroli to me. For my own inhalation, I like neroli. I’ve never had anybody comment either way on any of the scents.

To my nose, TUTH smells like regular neroli.

If you guys ever bought aftershave in musk scent, that’s what Akuto reminds me of.

Even at 1 drop, A314’s Akuto scent can be overbearing for me.

Neroli is my favorite, game’s scent surprised me when I first got it, it was a refreshing scent. I have yet to try grapefruit, but would like to try.

A314 reminds me of ass intermingled with headshop incense. Kinda cool in a kinky new age crystal strokin’ kinda way.

I personally like game. But when mixed with Neroli - I’ve been told it smells like window cleaner.

I recently ordered Akuto and Grapefruit.

Akuto smells like spicy fragrance sticks. I didn’t really like it all that much. A bit too pungent for me.

Grapefruit smells like exactly that. Grapefruit. Like you just got a grapefruit and squeezed it on yourself (but without the sticky leftover (of the grapefruit juice (no amount of brackets is going to make that sound less dodgy)).

Neroli itself is very subtle, and I like that. Plus it’s dry-down smell when you put your nose up to an application point and huff is great!

TUTH Neroli is completely different. It gives off a “Game” vibe, while being different. I can’t really explain it. Just a few notes from the original Neroli come through. The phero’s in TUTH certainly overpower it - but in a good way.

My vote goes to TUTH Spicy

Seriously? Negative rep for this post? =\

Errr, yeah, that was just an opinion.. no need for negative reps :frowning:

Someone gave you a ‘neg’ rep for this?!!! Oh well, I’ll send a thanks for expressing your honest opinion!

I repped ya to cancel it out.

I’m still trying to disseminate all the info on this site, being a newbie, but in reading these posts regarding scents, I’d definitely want to smell a sample & try out a sample on myself before I purchased a large bottle the product such scented. I know from cologne-wearing experience that some scents have garnered compliments & flirtations and others have brought absolutely no reaction. I also know how some scents that may smell good on a sample card can completely change on one’s body to the point of being sorry that I purchased it. I think that if products like these are going to have a base scent, it might be a good idea to make it something more universal. Neroli is one such scent. But there are others that would be more conducive for either men or women. I myself like to use diluted essential oils as base scents or as additives to certain colognes, shampoos or body washes. But hey, I’m a newbie…what do I know?
