Ok, well, first off, long-sleeved shirt or not, I would still spray one on the back of your hand and rub it together with the other one. I just think that you need to diffuse it quickly and on the backs of your hands just seems like the best place to do that. Then spray one to chest/throat area, before spraying the Ammo and Instant Shine. If Openess tends to make you more chatty than you’d care to be, spray it instead then to the back of your head/neck.
Since you’ll be pretty covered up, it wouldn’t hurt to reapply later if it seems the smell has disappated (sp?).
