Instant shine puts you in good mood — so does Anti Depressant (AD)
Instant shine makes you confident – so does AD
Instant shine makes you create a positive feedback loop – so does AD
While antidepressants create self effects the effects on others are also there because its impossible to be in a good mood without effecting others.
Can someone point out what blessings IS has over AD and also if the mones in IS are found in AD drugs?
I’m not a psychiatrist, doctor or a pharmacologist, but while I do agree IS is an amazing product, an anti-depressant does more with fixing chemical imbalances in the ol’ noggin.
Only maybe half the users at best get self effects at all. Usually within a few weeks the body adjusts to the pheromones and you dont feel any different using them. They still effect others because they are not exposed to the signal all the time like the user.
Anti depressants they regulate the amount of specific neurotransmitters in the brain, serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine.
Ishine can deplete them which is why you see many people report a crash feeling when Ishine wears off. It dose not regulate them.
Some depression is caused by other factors that have little to do with brain chemistry. In those cases neither AD or Ishine will do anything.
Other studies have shown that depression can be from a hormone imbalance. Ishine can not balance your hormones.
While Ishine is great and I love it using it I would not suggest it be used to treat real depression, That is like putting a band aid on a severed arm. It does little to fix the problem and can actually make it worse. This is why both Mharris and Bruce from LS have often said people with clinical depression or other mental conditions should not be using pheromones.
If you just have feelings of sadness and lack of confidence that is not depression. Ishine may be able to provide temporary relief of those. In many cases so can other stimuli like the smell of grandmas apple pie but that doesn’t cure or treat depression either. I think many doctors are to quick to jump on the anti depressant band wagon whenever some tells them they feel sad or stressed.
I cant tell you want TAA is but I am pretty confident it is not found in AD drugs. If it were it would not be sold for commercial use.
I was feeling the blues today as its winter in Toronto and there is little sunlight. I sprayed on IS 3 sprays and in 15 in my blues were gone I was calling up friends/family. This product has amazing effects on both me and others.
My question is suppose I want to increase the sexual effects, how much should I use?
Also if I use these larger doses will it still make me happy or act differently?
I have been using IS for about a month now and I no longer get the huge grin and super energy I once did but I still have a certain buzz of energy and usually I am in a good mood when I have it on. Luckily for me the “crash” has never been an issue.
yea I’ve never had the crash either, but you can get too used to it which makes you not feel the effects… as well as others around you if they’re always around when you wear it.
Taking a break from it for a week or so should reset this
Yes I don’t use IS everyday as I like the effect on myself . I use it when I need an upper and I’m feeling the blues or when I need to see a special girl I always want in a good mood and need to feel super happy and confident myself!!
I have Ishine in 8X and it works about the same as 4X for me and those exposed.
I have TAA oil which I love. I use a few drops of that and top it with Ishine to make the effects last longer then 4 hours. I wish they still had the oil version.
I used to get some self effect and I also would get the crash effect but not anymore. Its like caffeine I guess you just adjust to it.
Yeah I recall the first time I wore the 4x, I had to get home quick as I was dozing off in the car. I got home took a two hour nap and was fine after. So from then on I would just spray half a spray and worked myself up. I still feel some effects if I go without for a couple of days, but no where near what I used to get.
Anti-depressants, such as TCA’s and SSRI’s, are taken parenterally and goes through the first-pass metabolism in the liver. Afterward, it enters the bloodstream and crosses the blood-brain barrier, and then, it blocks re-uptake of nuerotransmiiters. This leads to NT increase in synapses, most notably, serotonin.
Mones directly go through the nose, activate VNO, and then different receptors associated with feelings, most likely in the limbic system. Plus, there is no scientific studies or evidences that they work. You just know by what you observe though
Could one week reset the resistance of it from months on in of use or should it be an every other week thing to stop the brain from picking up and ignoring it?
It used to be debated but most scientists are now leaning toward the VNO is non functional and looking for alternative pathways. You have to look at the current studies. This doesn’t mean pheromones cant or dont work. They believe that pheromones are delivered though the main olfactory epithelium. JVkohl is not the only one saying its a myth. He’s just the first one to voice it in the pheromone community.
It depends, I dont use Ishine daily. Sometimes I can go a week or two without using it but the self effects I experienced when I first used it never came back as strongly as in the beginning. I think its not really that your not experiencing it you just get used to it so you dont notice it as much.
Yep same thing here. I got so tired after using it I was beginning to wonder what the heck was wrong with me because usually I cant sleep but Ishine would knock me right out. That only lasted a while then it subsided. When I use it now I get a mild tired feeling at best but its hardly noticeable. It still works wonders on those exposed to it though.
Since I’ve been on antidepressants for quite some time, I thought I’d pipe in. The most important thing to note is that antidepressants don’t make you “happy”, “in a good mood”, etc. They make you more “normal”.
What does that mean? It means you still feel sad when appropriate, you are content when appropriate and are indifferent when appropriate, etc. We are not supposed to be “happy” all the time. Content, perhaps most of the time, but not necessarily “happy”. All human emotions are to be experienced and are normal at appropriate times.
Personally, IS does not make me happy or make me feel any particular way. I think that effect is a placebo effect. Just my two cents.
