What would happen if 2 people wearing mones in the same room

I recently got my female colleague to start wearing pheromones. I just found it is rather interesting observing her wearing the same mix but have a completely different effect. I always thought the pheromones smell so strong, and I always worry if people will pick up if I am experimenting on them. But when my coworker is wearing these pheromones, I cannot even catch a scent of any of the mixes.

The funny thing is when I wear IS myself, I never really feel much self-effect, but when she is wearing IS I was bouncing off the wall all bubbly and happy. One of my favorite mix is IS/A, but when she is wearing IS/A it has no effect on me but affects our coworkers greatly.

Just curious, if she and I both wearing different mixes be in the same small room, what would happen? Does the pheromones cancel each other out or do they become a stronger signal. Will people confuse the vibe she’s projecting and thinking it is me?

Based on what I’ve observed so far, I think pheromones cause varying effects based on the wearers body chemistry. It’s kind of like when two people wear the exact same perfume/cologne. One persons natural scent may display the citrus notes, and the other person may have the earthy tones show through more on their skin. I dated a guy who wore the same cologne as my dad and I hated it on him. It was great on my father, but on my guy it smelled too sweet.

Since everybody naturally kicks off pheromones to varying degrees, I don’t think they cancel each other out. I think the people who like you with IS/A will still feel the effects even if your colleague is wearing it and standing three feet away. Your personal scent… your stance… your attitude… and the pheromones, may all contribute to the outcome.

Hey GF, I have another theory..Maybe the fact that it was your Dads cologne had something to do with it? I think it can work both ways, neg and positive, depending on the girl.

I have many colognes, and I rotate what I wear pretty regularly. But I received a bottle of a certain cologne that my Dad wears, and I have a hard time wearing it. It is very nice stuff, and I get a lot of compliments from ladies when I wear it, but it is my Dads fragrance. I have a great relationship with my Dad, so its not like he beat me as a kid or anything, its just his smell, not mine. I think that bottle is like 5 years old!

An example of the opposite is Old Spice. My 8 year old niece gave me a bottle for Christmas last year, and I have worn it a few times, mostly on weekends, during the day. Save the good stuff for work and dates. But it is amazing how many women come up to me and ask me if Im wearing Old Spice, then say “I love that smell, my Dad used to wear it all the time.” So now I wear Old Spice when Im feeling old school

Yup… you’re right CP. As I was typing, I thought about it how it could go both ways. I have a bottle of perfume that I thought my mom would like, so I gave her some. Now I hate the smell. :stuck_out_tongue: Whenever I catch a whiff, I think it smells like my mom. And I don’t hate my mom either, but I’ve come to associate the smell of this perfume with her. It’s no longer my scent.

My guess is that pheromones work the same way on me, and other people for that matter.

Yes I truly believe that smells can trigger memories, or have an “imprinting” effect. I have read many articles on it as well. Seeing or smelling something that makes you think of something good or bad that happened to you. A couple of examples of this for me:

-A cheap drugstore perfume called Heavenscent..the girl I lost my virginity to used to wear it..still makes my naughty bits tingle all these years later

-The smell of Gin…ugghhh! Got sick on it back when I was in college and I cant to this day stand the smell without feeling nauseous. Ick.

So this also lends cred to the notion here on the forum that many people are chasing a “fallout” mix, by trying to imprint your phero signature on their love interest. Makes sense to me.

Thank you for the feedback. This is very interesting. Perhaps, my colleague and I should try to do a dual pheromone experimentation and see how people reacts.
