What's the catch?

Hi everyone!

After trying it for a few days, all I conclude is… this %@#$ works!!!

It is awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. It’s like lube for everyday life.

Now my question is… what’s the catch? There’s got to be some hazards with it right?

I’ve noticed that I get sporadic slight headaches (in my sinus area) from IShine + IG and that some people around me cough and sneeze. Are these pheromones harmful? Has anyone gotten sick from prolonged use? It it gonna make me into an addict?

I’m loving it but could veterans please chime in?
Thanks!

I’m not a veteran but all I can say is if you OD expect some bad responses from others…

Read my thread for info on side effects. As for addiction. You can develop a psychological dependency on them, especially if they give you good initial effects as in IShine and a314. You could also get so caught up in ‘what works’, looking for hits, and thinking of different mixes for different situations that you forget pheromones can only help you 10% if at all. Even before my chronic side effects I was realising that working on social skills, positive thinking, and self belief were way more important and cost nothing to improve.

Keep on trolling ultimate

Pay no attention to Ultimate he’s batshit crazy. He’s kind of like that crazy uncle we all have that start rambling on about top secret government experiments when he’s off his meds.

Ultimate has been a member of this community and long-standing customer of Androtics for a very long time. While his opinions of pheromone use may vastly differ from the majority of members here, he is still entitled to his opinion.

Although his experience is atypical and not reflect the majority or even a small minority of users, they are still his experiences and none of us can say he didn’t experience them.

Of course, as such you are entitled to your opinion as well. My opinion is that Ultimate’s experience are based on psychological issues with fear and anxiety and need to be addressed via a professional who specializes in psychiatric help. Psychological delusions to the bearer are very real indeed. Please note I am not calling ultimate a psycho, I am merely expressing my concern for his mental health and recommending he seek professional medical assistance.

Pheromones are about as benign as wearing any cologne. In fact the FDA are very aware of pheromones and therefore allow them as “SAFE” and used in soaps and colognes.

Ok… now… to your concerns…Trilby…

When I first started using Instant Shine about a year ago… MAN, has it been that long?!.. I was very concerned with alergic reactions and scent migraines… You can check out my Amazing in a Bottle thread on my sig below to verify this…

I don’t find the social line causing ANY adverse effects in me or those around me. I mean, can you call the bubbliness effect on others from IO, the bearing of ones soul from IH Adverse Effects? No… but, I’m sure that those being affected by the mones in this way WEREN’T expecting these effects.

I initially got some headaches when using mones but, besides the caffiene like crash of NT depletion by not Taking a break from mones, this has gone away completely…

HOPE that’s helpful

I’ve been using mones almost daily for over a year now and have had no bad effects, besides the fact that other drunken men don’t take too kindly to me when I wear IJ. Very few react aggressively to any other -none product I have.

Haven’t had one bad self effect yet, very few positive ones for that matter. P75 is one I get some really nice ones out of. One spray @ 2.5 mcg close to/on my face makes me feel a whole lot better on days when I experience anxiety or other discomfortable feelings.

There is no catch. Humans produce pheromones its one of the ways we all communicate from birth. Since you make every one of these pheromones and they are not entering the blood stream or body because of the blood brain barrier they dont change your physiology.

They act just as you other senses do. For instance suppose you see a big scary dog and its coming for you. Your Neurotransmitters start to fire and your adrenaline start pumping. This is visual communication. Once the stimulus is gone so is the chemical reaction it caused. You remember it as a scary event but your adrenaline doesn’t spike nearly as much without the visual.

The same happens with our sense of hearing. Hear some great music and it makes certain neurotransmitters in the brain fire.

Neither event changes your physiology unless of course the dog actually reaches you and bites you LOL.

Pheromones are signalers not endocrine disruptor’s. They are no more harmful then that scary movie that makes you feel scared or that beautiful sunset that makes you feel at peace. They are a natural chemical made by the body.

You can become addicted to anything really depending on your mentality. However you do not become physically addicted to mones as you do drugs or other substances that are ingested.

I cant speak for everyone else but I have used them over 12 years. I am quite healthy and I can skip weeks at a time without physically noticing I am not wearing them. I know tons of people who use them with no adverse effects.

This bares repeating. If the FDA even thought for one second that mones were harmful when used responsibly then they would be on all mone companies like white on rice. Of course if you are irresponsible and spray them in your eyes or drink them you will get sick but used as directed they’re fine.

I also want to mention for the new people here that OD in the mone world doesn’t mean over dose really although its associated with to much signal. Lots of people see OD and they get images of drug overdose and its symptoms. OD simply means opposite of desired effect. In other words no reaction at all or a negative change in mood.

Sneezing is not a adverse effect. People sneeze to clear there airway. Sure certain scents can cause this. Pheromones can sometimes cause that tickle feeling of something in the airway. The sun can cause it as well for some people with the gene. We have it in our family and every time we move from an dark environment out into the sun we sneeze a few times. There are lots of studies on this phenomenon.

Anywhoo back on subject >>>> Synthetic mones just give you control over the signal your sending. Its like learning a language in a way.

Another brilliant post by Tisha and my vote for TOTW. Some good information in this one
