With last week’s order I also received a free Spaceland sample.
As I already own a bottle of Spaceland I’ve found that the scent of the sample ist totally different from my Spaceland.
What’s wrong? Did they changed the scent? Did I i get something that has the label Spaceland but is really something different?
Did you get something perhaps they are testing scent changes on ???
Hmmm could be, thats why they send alot of free stuff out. To test and then they wait for your report to come in.

Indeed, it would be nice to lose the hippie EO scent of Spaceland. Almost anything or nothing would be better. Well, I can think of one worse EO: Patchouli. Please, dear God, don’t let Androtics choose Patchouli. So many friggen new age hippies in Oregon I can imagine it happening…
Oh goddess tell me about it, I hate patchouli it makes me gag.
Another possibiity is that its a new batch that hasnt cured yet. What does it smell like to you now ??

i’ve been buying Spaceland since it was a brand new experimental here 3 years ago and i’ve yet to get one with an EO scent.
i second (or third or eleventy hundredth) the motion to prevent androtics from adding patchouli to any product, at least if it can’t be changed in the store!
Hmm, my Spaceland smells strongly–and I mean strongly–of clary sage EO. Remainds me of Haight-Ashbury, psychedelic posters, headshops, mary jane ‘n stickin’ it to the man!

i’m a spaceland lover and also recieved a sample of the new spaceland. i really like the new smell better than the older version. the effect seems the same. i just shot 2 sprays of the new on my forearm and started giggling. very up beat i can t wait to use it with instant honesty x 4
Too right. Drop the scent, purrllleeeeessssseeeee. The effects are great, but the scent is horrible. You spend hours in purgatory waiting for the stuff to die down and submit to cover, during which, the payload evaporates and you’ve lost the chance to test it at full strength.
The paranoia about the funk when you’re wearing it isn’t worth it. I’m sure it has a subconscious effect on the people around you when you’re cringing everytime a stranger comes up to you at a bar or walks past, wondering what they’re thinking.
The scent is stopping it from becoming anything other than a niche product. I know Androtics doesn’t do it in x4, but Instant Openness at that strength would be far more socially acceptable and give you the same effect.

Its not supposed to be anything more then a niche product. MH made it for fun for a limited time. I dont think he ever planned to release it in the consumer section. What there plans for it are now, I am not sure but hopefully it wont follow Dirty and RP

hit some cool water on the old spaceland and it smells fine.
If you don’t mind spending a few mo’ jacksons, 50mcg experimone alpha nol is the exactly the same as SP save the funky EO.
I also received a sample to-go of Spaceland and was confused after smelling it. I had heard all about how it smells like pot and could cause problems, and though I’ve never actually smelled pot, I don’t think, it didn’t seem too terribly different from other products I’ve bought. Androtics experimenting with the scent would explain it.

just as vespero mentioned, it now has this “general” androtics scent. so it would go with the other products a lot better.
although I must admit I like the old version.
