I´m a newbie too, only have been using mones for about 9 weeks, but i´m enjoying it a lot.

There are many threads around that you may want to read, but as as you seem to like to dig deep into things, i would recomend you to read this one, if you alerady have not done it. I find specially informative:

Ok, I was bored and extremely intoxicated while doing this. That being said, I’ve noticed the same questions being asked so I decided to put together a FAQ. I feel these are the top 10 most common questions. To find a question easier instead of scrolling down and finding it, search for it. Windows, use ctrl + f and search for “1.8” and it will only lead you to 2 places, the top, here and to the bottom, where the question is without having to scroll down. For macs, use command, that funky squigly…
