The reason for this is that a mans body grows in size first and cuts ressources on other parts. Muscle before brains because neurones require MASSIVE amounts of rare nutrients that take years to accumulate to have a fully developped brain. But this can be “cured”. I take MASSIVE doses of every brain building nutrient, every brain fat, every minerals etc. At 18, I have the brain of a mature 50 year old man running at it’s optimal. All i need now is experience with women an a few pointers on dancing better.
I have once read that 70% of males are better than females in math. But when a female is better in math than the best male, she will be 30% better. That means that if you do many science and math classes, chances are that you are with the small percentage of females that are the best of all. That may explain why we think women are better in school. I can’t remember exactly the numbers, i hope this makes sense to your “under developped brains”, hahahah i’m joking.

If you had read my post more carefully you may have noted I did not say men were stupid. I stated young college age men in my classes generally have poorer writing skills and lower test scores than female students. The before mentioned statement does not equate with male stupidity. However, it does imply immaturity, poor preparation and/or poor attitudes on the part of young male students. Many of these guy’s brains and bodies are literally still growing. Sheesh, some actually carry stateboards to class! Half of them are simply not ready for college at age 18. I also noted returning older male students are among my best performers. There is something about growing up that makes a world of difference.
I don’t think testosterone levels and natural ego have anything to do with poor male performance in my classes. If it were so, the men would be competing against one another to write the best paper or get the highest test score. Instead, there are powerful social issues at play. Unfortunately too many guys are socialized to believe it is uncool to study in secondary schools. It takes time to deprogram them. Only 40% of the students at my college are male. Nationally (USA), males account for 46% of college students. In grad school male stats are even lower. Male dropout rates are much higher than women and graduation rates much lower.

Wellll… way back when… my girlfriend was 16 and I was 21 and we decided to play it very low key especially for her friends sake…who we both knew would not understand… at times we were deeply in sync and at times the differneces waere unbelievable… whatever it was it its own way it was real… she has three kids now, married a guy I really like, and we’re still in touch 30 years later… and there is this tricky little undercurrent between us that we aren’t going to act on… all that said, age differences don’t automatically equate with pedophilia or abuse or exploitation… sometimes real feeling and real mutual understanding does occur between people of dissimilar ages… I mean, there are limits beyond which it is outrageous and out of the question… like a 40 year old guy and a 14 year old girl just can’t be… not in modern American culture at least…

There aren’t any blanket judgments that can usefully be applied here. Deep and lasting relationships can form even at the ages described. One of my friends, a real overachiever, started dating her husband when she was 15 and he was 27. Different races, too … they’ve been together now happily for nearly 40 years.
Carrie, a 27 year old man dating a 15 year old is child stealing by my definition, and also accoring to the Law. Fact is, a girl at 15 is a child that does not have enough life experience to make a reasoned relationship judgement. On the other hand, a 27 year old man has enough life experience to manipulate a 15 year old. Most men that do tend to desire minors, have a lack of interpersonal skills and find it difficult to form relationships with women of thier own age group or with a socially mature female. Predators that target minors for sex or for relationships tend to be socially inept.

Does taking massive amounts of trace minerals lead to poisoning when you take in the consideration that many trace minerals and elements are indeed poisonous in moderate doses? I am actually 17 years old despite me saying that I am 18. This is because I use the Asian method to calculate my age (One year old at time of birth). I have to say that I am also an intellectual like you ( I don’t know about you but I cannot associate with people with under 100IQ, it feels like there is a barrier where everything I say is blocked to an extent where they cannot understand what I am talking about ). I have an IQ of 154 and am currently enrolled in my second year in University with Major in Astrophysics. I want to become a dentist in the future but I have always held an interest in physics which is why I wanted to have a bachelor’s degree in physics. However, sleeping for only 6 hours a day for 6 months now since summer is taking a toll on my body. It is like I cannot function normally. I am depressed all the time and just last week I fell asleep in the middle of an important exam and failed to complete it. Thankfully, I knew the professor well enough (only professor I knew personally on campus) for a retest. That is why I thought taking special nutrients would help my performance.
I have a few questions to ask you about your supplemented diet, one of which is how long have you taken this sort of supplement? Another is where you can find the nutrients that you told me in the previous post. If you can answer these questions for me, I would be grateful beyond words because I really need some help right now.

Thomas, did you intelligence come from these supplements or was it a gift at birth? Personally, I am gifted at birth, however, these gifts are only present for science and mathematical subjects. In high school grade 12 ( senior year ) , I had over 95% average in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math and Calculus. However I only for a 82% in math and 79% in social studies ( history ). I was wondering if the supplements will help me remember boring history subjects better? If so, it would definately help me when I take all those biology classes next semester for dentistry.

Everything you say is true, of course, in some contexts. My argument is with making an absolute out of it.
You think you can safely generalize about my friend, a woman who probably had more “life experience” by the age of 15, growing up black and superintelligent in the Bronx, than many people ever manage to accumulate. When he met her in the 1960s, her appearance and demeanor led him to gauge her as mid-20s. It was a shock to him to find out her age, and he did take a step back. He’s no pedophile and believe me, nobody manipulates her. She decided that the relationship would go forward, and so it has, quite successfully, for nearly 40 years.
Granted, there are many people in western society - which perpetuates childhood to an absurd degree, all the while glamourizing and commodifying sex - who are not emotionally mature enough for sex or an adult relationships even by the age of consent, or far beyond it. Many of these people - men and women both - are easily manipulable.
Any generalization contains a measure of truth, but never absolute truth - that can only be approached in the individual case.

We’re freaks, we really are… we are such righteous puritans on one hand, setting up predators for public exposure, being so boundary conscious, futzy and anxious about everything being sexual assault at the minimun, accusations alone carrying a devastating power… sheeeez… look at that wacked out case in North Carolina with their apparantly divorced-from-reality prosecutor Mike Nifong who was going to prosecute three guys from the lacrose team for rape, kidnapping, sexual assault and God knows what else, in spite of either A. lack of evidence to substantiate the claims, and B. uncontested exculpatory evidence supporting the lacrosse players position, and C. admission of evidence supression from the DNA lab… yet this idiot Nifong insisted that the case would go forward, and the Duke campus was in an uproar because a bunch of radical professors (calling themselves the “group of 88”) had prejudged these students and “knew” they were guilty… there were protests where kids were holding up signs saying “CASTRATE” on the Duke campus and the president of Duke didn’t interfere… now that Nifong is under investigation himself and facing debarment for his evident abuses of his authority (seems that he mistakenly figured that casting himself as the great prosecutor of collegiate sexual transgressions would get his more that his 15 minutes of fame), and the case against the lacrosse players is in its final stage of humiliating collapse, these “Group of 88” clowns are saying, well… so what, the ATMOSPHERE of college life is inherently sexist and this was a good way to raise the issue… I mean, this is the downside of this witch hunt, tar everyone with the same brush, self righteous, everyone who isnt just like me is a deviant or a pervert mentality… and America at present is saturated with this obsession,

I’m afraid Bronzie that legal definition varies not only by country, but state by state in the USA. In the USA the age of consent has ranged from 9 years to 16. The norm is currently 14 or 15 in most USA states. My grandmother married when she was 10 (arranged marriage).
reguardless of the laws varying from place to place, it just takes having children to know who is capable of giving consent.
while someone may be able to give consent legally at 14-15, that doesnt make them mentally able to live with a bad decision had they made one. with that being said, im with bronzie on this topic.

I’ve met men and women in their mid twenties who I considered unable to give informed consent, and you are so right catlord: the option to exercise self-control never expires. On the other hand, I’ve also met males and females below the legal age of consent who not only looked old enough, but also conducted themselves so.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a broadly based chancery court system in place here – where only equity and fairness as decided from first principles, not the letter of the law matter – and where those below the written age of consent could be judged “competent” and “emancipated” and thus deemed to meet the legally required age.
As tacitus also hinted – such a rational approach to maturity of sexual competence does not fly in a society so emotionally conflicted over sexuality.

Was it John Stuart Mill who said “the law is an ass” ? … in his usage of the word I think he meant literally “a donkey” … stubborn, concrete, hard to change… I suppose as a collective resonse to a previous era of social chaos or near chaos that brought us enormous problems, like the H.I.V. epidemic, the Columbine shootings and copycat shooting sprees, really perverted phenomena like kiddie porn and sex tourism to third world countries, “we” have swung the pendulum the other way and clamped down hard with Zero Tolerance for many previously grey area behaviors… whic doesn’t make Zero Tolerance the perfect solution, just the least wrong solution “we” can generate at the moment.
Having said that, any reasonable male who doesn’t want to be branded a deviant, made a social outcast, and perhaps convicted of something that will put him on a permanent sex offender database should well avoid anything that looks like potential trouble. For a guy of my vinatage that’s easy to say because to my jaundiced eye, women aren’t even interesting until they reach 30, and they start getting really good at 40 (it’s going to take you young guys a while to appreciate the reasons for this)… any girl/woman under 20 is just a tadpole… and between 20 and 30 they are burning off their teen clumsiness and learning some social graces…
OTOH, for a guy who is in his early twenties, especially with communication gadget culture, where the average “realtionship”, if you want to call it that, happens over text messages and MySpace, who knows what the heck looks, feels, emotes as normality ? Kids these days confuse the daylights out of me. I cannot figure out what they base their connections on.. they don’t seem capable of sustained focus on a single topic for more than five minutes… when we were college age a good conversation could last five hours, uninterrupted by any form of communication device… you sat there and discussed your topic all night… now that capacity for concentrated focus and shared knowledge of books we had read (who reads anymore ?) or music that we knew seriously distinguished age brackets. 25 year olds had a substantially different knowledge base than 20 year olds.
I’m not so sure if that’s the case anymore… which may lead to greater age group blurring, which may lead to the need for more rigid legally imposed boundaries…
With that in mind, an adult today would have to be insane to get involved with a minor, or even the appearance of being involved with a minor. The long term consequences could be devastating.
I have met 14-year-old girls who were of a maturity level to seem much older (certainly older than the 18-yo’s I have met) because they were saddled with the responsibility of taking care of their mothers, fathers and siblings. Drugged out useless excuses for parents sometimes produce situations like this. I have also met people in their 80’s who hadn’t figured out their asses from a hole in the ground when it came to common sense or any sort of intellectual capacity for making reasonable judgements. Not talking about stupid people, talking about smart, but clueless. Talking about someone who taught highschool, has a Master’s degree, and yet still can’t seem to follow the simplest directions.
The age of sexual consent is and always will be a gray area. I think, personally, that we in the United States try to make people “children” for far too long. But regardless of what nature says (through menstruation) or the female says (through decisions, based on whatever sound or faulty thinking - let’s face it, faulty thinking certainly isn’t the sole province of the young), the law says something different. The law doesn’t care. The law will throw your ass in jail (or worse, prison) where you will find yourself labelled as a sexual deviant and treated as such. (Inmates REALLY don’t like “sexual deviants”, and especially “child molesters”.) You’re looking at having your life destroyed in so many ways it’s not funny.
I agree that you can’t turn a gray area into a black and white separation without having some instances of ridiculousness on both sides, but still… with all the women out there who are “of age”… why would you even worry?
Now there’s an interesting case going through the courts in Utah: 2 children, a junior high age boy and girl, were charged with having unlawful sex with a minor (they had sex with one another). Both were charged with having sex with a minor below the age of consent, although both were also below the age of consent! Technically both may have to register as sex offenders so the girl has decided to fight it in court. The boy gave up. Although the law was meant to “protect” minors from sex with adults it makes to exception for minor on minor sex.
I’ve always though we should grant adulthood based on competence rather than an arbitrary age. We all mature at different rates, and nothing magical happens at age 18. Oddly the law sees fit to try 10 year olds as adults for capital cases.
