I’ve been getting some hits with some of the other AD products like A314 (which I’m planning to post about at a later time) and have tested Ammo (1 and 2 sprays) with Instant Shine (also 1 and 2 sprays) with minor hits such as people being a bit more chatty overall (but then, I’ve been more chatty) but nothing to indicate that the pheromones were doing anything too drastic.
So, yesterday, I decided to get my hair cut and I’d dcided I’d try some pheros out on the lady (48 yr. old caucasian) who cuts my hair (as a reminder, I’m 49, also caucasian.) I apply Ammo (1 spray) and 2 sprays IS to the back of my neck. I also have 20mgc P86 in EO, which I spray on twice. The EO that was used smells like oil of cloves, and every time I’ve used it I think I smell like a Thanksgiving ham for quite a while. To attempt to fight against this effect I made one of the sprays to my lower chest/abdomen. I didn’t apply any cover cologne. I waited an hour to go to the stylist.
Normally, this lady is all smiles and very friendly. I sign in as she finishes up with her current customer. She walks away from where I’m sitting and over to her chair and without looking at me says very stone-faced, “Are you ready?” She looks slightly distrurbed. Yikes! I smile to attempt to soften her demeanor and ask how she is (though I can see the answer already!) She squeezes out a “fine” and gets right to business. “How do you want it cut?” She says this as if I’m bothering her and she’s got some place else to be. I explain what I want and she gets going in workman-like fashion.
The only time she seemed to lighten up was when I talked about my work, but after that she was back to being stone-faced. It was an odd experience, especially compared to the other times I’ve seen her. Maybe she was just having a lousy day, but I wondered what part the pheros might have had. I can’t imagine Ammo or IS as causing this reaction, but I am heavily wondering the effect of P86 in the mix.
Any thoughts?
