First off, I’m new here but I thought I’d start a journal even before I actually get my order in the mail.
Before I found this site and Androtics Direct I was keenly interested in pheromone study. Recently, ongoing issues have created a need for an edge in social competition (for lack of a better term.) Needless to say, I have tons of questions mostly pertaining to personality type in relation to mones.
There’s a personality test which tells you what type you are out of 16 possible types (look up Myers-Briggs Type Indicator if you’re interested in learning more.) My personality type based on MBTI is INFJ (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging… or Introverted intuition with Extroverted feelings.) Having researched this in as much detail as I can muster, which is a lot, only 1% of the population has this personality type making it the rarest of all 16 types. Personally, I don’t like that. I mean, I really really don’t like that idea at all. It puts me in a rare experimental category which kinda sucks.
I realize it’s a simple test and to categorize something as complex as a personality is borderline absurd; however, the basic explanations of these types are accurate. The details are sometimes frighteningly accurate.
I’m not sure how many folks on here are taking this to the depth that I’m going to attempt to (eventually anyway.) I’ve been running through the forums reading as much as I can about different experiences and experiments in the daily lives of some members and I’m so eager to get started because of it.
Anyway, I just wanted to give the basics of what I’m doing here besides my personal conquest for an edge. I’ll be running through the forums gathering info for my study. Pointers are welcome! Anything to improve the linkages between personality and pheromones that hasn’t been covered in great detail is my eventual goal. Of course, I’m a newb so it’ll be a while
I’m excited to be here and have received warm welcomes. Thanks so much for the friendly community and the chance to dive deeper into a personal study
I used to love the east coast too. Growing up in dirty jerz (AKA New Jersey) was fun, but after I got out, I realized just how amazing the world was. When I went back a couple of years ago I was in complete shock that I ever wanted to live there and why I wanted to visit again. Traffic was appalling, pollution, urban sprawl, it was like a festering sore on humanity-LOL.
There are some good people there, but I’ll take me a southern girl anyday. I like it here in the south
Well I’m Jersey to the bone and I have ventured around the country. Used to drive a big rig long haul. There’s a lot to see and do but Jersey is home and I miss it! I’m not real big on the South simply because I don’t really like hot weather… which is funny cause Jersey is hella humid in the summer! True, the traffic is bad but at least there’s a reason for it: population. Out here on the Olympic Peninsula there’s traffic because people don’t know how to drive (I’ve been recovering from a car accident for the last 5 months because some stupid b*tch didn’t look before she made her left turn in front of me… FUN!) Plus the road planners couldn’t have been that bright cause u can get lost pretty easily… well, in Seattle anyway. As for the pollution… I miss the stink of home! lol It’s very clean here and extremely beautiful but I miss the stench of Philly and South Jersey soooo much! I can’t wait til the 22nd!
