I have been reading through the journals on the forums and have become slightly discouraged regarding the effectiveness of them. A lot of people seem to have been testing them to find their ‘sweet spot’ for weeks. For literaly a week or so of everyday testing they recieve no results, and then as soon as they notice a ‘result’ they immediately acredit it to the pheramones and think they are a wonder. Now, I am not saying they don’t work, but I am just very sceptical before spending my money.
I have a few questions:
Why is there no recent research which proves that synthetic human pheromones work?
Why don’t pharmaceutical giants such as GSK come along and turn human pheromones into a multi-billion dollar market?
How on Earth does a tiny company like Androtics know how to synthetically create human pheromones while pharmaceutical giants with ludicrously large R&D budgets don’t?
I’d be very grateful if someone could help me out!
Dial Magnetic? I dunno dude. I’m seein’ 'mones all over the place. These smaller companies like AD are just further out on the cutting edge than big corps. That’s the way life is.
What do you understand under the word “research”? There is some research. Some of it we do it here. I was sceptical, I tried, at first I failed (beacuse I had no clue how to use it), then I learned and I have some great results now.
Because pheromones are difficult to use. It takes time to learn, it takes time to find sweet spots. Some people expect them to do the whole job, while pheromones are just a tool. If you buy even the best tools but just put them on a piece of wood, they won’t make a piece of furniture. You have to learn how to use them and actually work with them. It will be much easier than with bare hands, but it still requires you doing something, and being skillful.
Most people won’t instantly have the effects they desire from pheromones. And most are not willing to put time, effort and cost into it. They work properly only in very specific amounts (different for each user), specific proportions (again, different for each user) and require certain behaviours.
Who told you the giants don’t know how to do it? Maybe they just aren’t really interested in doing this? Some companies make shampoos, some make aspirin, some make prozac and some make pheromones. Not every single pharmaceutical/chemical company has to produce aspirin, and not every one has to produce pheromones. Each of them has some place in the general market.
Like, I play bass guitars from this semi-small german manufacturer. But I don’t ask: “why don’t they make chairs? They’re also made from wood, and the market for chairs is much bigger than for bass guitars. They could make billions making chairs. But certainly they just don’t know how to make them. Otherwise they would”…
You mean here in the forum or world wide ? Here in the forum because no one has posted the recent studies yet. Members post those.
If your do a search of Pub Med and other scientific realms on the web there are tons of studies though. Remember that getting your study published takes some time though so studies done in 2010 and 11 are not easy to find but they are ongoing.
Here are some 2009 examples though and it will give you some guidance on where to search
I have a list a mile long, You have to be a member to some of these sites to see the full content of the study. Its a technology in progress.
Because of the taboo and the misconceptions people have about pheromones and what they do you dont see it out on the open market much in products. They are coming around though.
As Renny suggested Dial uses pheromones in there Dial Magnetic products which is quite popular. Victoria Secret uses them in there booty call line. However there are so many different pheromones we produce that communicate different things and its still a growing technology.
Where do you think AD gets there pheromones ? From pharmaceutical companies. The lab techs here just work with the chemicals to make formulas out of them. Different pharmaceutical companies specialize in different things. GSK’s research and development is about finding new medicines to prevent and treat disease so they work with and sell chemicals that do that. Pheromones dont do that. When you go to a lab to find a putative that acts as a pheromone it will be listed under steroids, metabolites and hormones. That’s what a pheromone is essentially “a hormone that signals outside of the body as well as inside”
In fact there is one company working on different methods of using pheromones for medical conditions. Pherin Pharmaceuticals. I dont know how far its come along though.
Pherin Research
Pherin Products
These are the people who teamed with Dial to create dial magnetic and they have there own pheromone line as well. Human Pheromone Sciences formly known as EROX. Dr Monti heads up both projects from what I understand.
Its out there you just need to know how to find it ?
A large part of my work has involved Insect, fish and human phero research since the early 1990s and I’m not short of colleagues/projects.
A major pharma firm is currently developing the results of our work into a human/agri product - This takes a long time.
Androtics obtain their raw materials from a variety of producers - Some are very small/individual whilst others are household names in the scientific world.
May I ask what you did wrong at first? Surely if you follow the instructions, find your ‘sweet spot’ etc they will work fine? But obviously you shouldn’t expect them to do EVERYTHING.
I was overdosing. I was using Alter Ego at about 3x of what I later found to be my sweet spot. People were avoiding me. My friend at work, a 21-yo waitress who usually loves being around me and is quite touchy feely, told me that she hates me when I’m that horny in this unpleasant way. And I didn’t do anything, I just said hello to her. This, and many more similar situations.
I suggest you grab your gift voucher and spray yourself 10 times with Instant Jerk then hit the town to decide whether or not it works.
