Hi

Hi, I am a 46 year old male that lives in Orange County.

I heard about this forum from another forum in the U.K. (Alpha Male).
Kind of funny really, Orange County to England and back to L.A…lol.

Hi there!
Ohh O.C is a nice place!
I like the Orange County Choppers!Wicked!
Anyway a warm welcome to you to the best pheromone store in the world!Feel free to shoot any doubts. So what effects are you looking for man?
:stuck_out_tongue:

Does it work? Any double blind studies to base my opinions on?

Get yourself a bottle of Instant Honesty double strength and find out for yourself.Spray it on yourself, spam it everywhere and see if you’re still skeptical.

Would that be your first pic?

My first pick would definitely be Instant Shine and Instant Openness or CTTM2(which contains both alpha and beta androstenol at almost equal amounts).Instant Honesty contains predominantly beta-nol,and is the easiest to get the most noticable reactions that proves to you that mones do work if you are still skeptical. It makes people tell you what they are not supposed to tell you.

There is an other forum, love-scent that has a researcher named James V. Kohl that posts regularly. He has a home page at http://www.pheromones.com/ that has loads of peer reviewed research papers for you to look at.

So this is all anecdotal evidence?

If I went out and thought it gave me an edge, I would be one up, dont cha think?

It’s very far from being merely anecdotal - it’s scientifically-proven.

I’m a doctor, and one of the biggest cynics on the planet to boot, but it definitely works.

For example, when a WOMAN uses copulins to attract a man, it is SCIENTIFICALLY-PROVEN that within 20 minutes tops of a male encountering her, his testosterone level WILL elevate by approx. 130%. Great fun for us gals, as it’s a fail-safe for sexual purposes. You guys have to do a bit more tweaking, however.

You can’t argue with factual data, and believe me, I would be the first to do so, if I deemed it necessary.

Try IH x 2 (double-strength) for a kick-off, watch the literal “Truth-serum” effect it has on the people you are with (do NOT spray it on your own face or at the front of the neck unless you ALSO want to be revealing your deepest, darkest secrets, and turning into a blathering bunny rabbit) - then come back and report, and I bet you will NOT be telling us it is simply “Anecdotal evidence,” after THAT experience.

Ail

So buy it on faith then, cause I didn’t get the study that backs your claims.

Androtics do provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and from what I have read on here, they do honor it.

D.

No: don’t buy is an option. Perhaps the best option for you.

If you cant back up your product then maybe you are right.

So that’s the best you can do? So no double blind studies?

I have a pill that you add to your gas tank that will double your milage, but it hasn’t been tested yet, any takers? Get my point?

Dakota is the only one that has given me any reason to buy.

Oh for pity’s sake, man - grow up and stop throwing your dollies out of your pram!

Instead of sniping smarmily, why don’t you let your fingers do the walking, read some of the TON of hard “evidence” the users here have posted over the last year or so - and stop noising people up, simply for the sheer hell of it.

You came to the wrong place if you expect to be molly-coddled every step of the way throughout your journey in the pheromone world.

This is about learning, sharing info and being RECEPTIVE to hard facts. Okay? Being cynical is fine, but you cannot damn something if you don’t bloody bother to try!

Life is one bloody giant and steep learning-curve, mate.

Steeper for some than others, it would appear..

Ail

I have not seen any hard facts yet.

There is research going on about the effects of synthetic pheromones in general, but not (to my knowledge) about specific consumer products. You can do a search on PubMed, to start. The study that Ail is referring to is authored by Grammer and Jutte:

Here’s a summary of the literature on pheromones put together by James V. Kohl, a scientist who has developed his own pheromone products:

Hi, Winger.

I just noticed your introduction. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for your questions, and your skepticism! I think it’s great.

I’m sorry some people gave you answers which you view as unrealistic or even hostile. Many people enjoy the fact that pheromones have not reached mainstream acceptance, so they can keep the technology to themselves for as long as possible. That’s from where much of the hostility stems. They’re just being selfish in the most effective way they know how.

Like me, you seem to have a distaste for faith based products. I’m a hard bred Skeptos Society & objectivism inspired skeptic myself (not one of the modern breed of nihilistic skeptic that insist that nothing exists at all!) Personally, I hate faith based products that do nothing.

I have an imagination, but I can use that liberally for free, thank you very much!

The bulk of nutritional products in existence fall into this category. You either imagine that they’re doing something, or you get no benefit from them at all.

Advertising is to blame for pre-programming people, but so are some poorly done studies that will later be disproven. I’ve tried many well studied nutritional products that proved themselves to be garbage in the real world. (All studies have bias, including double blinds – the only truly good studies are double blinds that are then replicated by other disinterested parties… a very rare thing these days!)

We view ourselves more of a technology company that drives things forward, that does small scale propriety studies in order to further that purpose. My own skepticism has been kept on high, which helps greatly in development.

That said, a university study is being done on of our propriety pheromones by a university in Germany, but these things take a lot of time and an amazing amount of money to complete.

But like computer graphics cards, despite studies, our products provides more visible benefits this year than last.

Unless you need someone else to completely confirm reality for you (most schizophrenics or truly delusional people don’t make their way onto the forum!), most people have enough grasp of reality to to be able to tell for themselves over time if something actually works.

For example:

Anyone, even a completely logical engineer, can tell that this year’s Quadro and FireGL graphics cards on their workstations work, and are better this year than last year.

Yet no double blind studies are done on these, validating the reality of 3D, or it’s efficacy when compared against 2D. It’s just technology marching forward, and you often don’t absolutely require a study for the development of something tangible.

University studies have their purposes, but they often come after the development of a bonafide technology. Full university studies tend serve more as a confirmation than an active part of the development process. In today’s economy, you can’t wait 3 to 20 years for a university study to give you the smallest amount of data for the highest cost possible.

Real life works fast, and commercially, you are forced by the market to do what works to produce tangible results that are worth an exchange of people’s hard earned dollars, and their irreplacable time.

Anyway, you have a $15 gift cert here, given to you for nothing more than saying “Hello”. This is enough to try something small without any cost to you (besides shipping and handling), if you wish. In your case, the best thing might be to get something free, and see for yourself.

For official university studies, also please see NIMH and Google scholar.

The two most university studied molecules are androstadienone and estratetraenol.

You can use this link to search directly for androstadienone:
androstadienone - Google Scholar

We sell both of these well studied molecules. In fact, we’re unique in that use the same American chemist who creates most of these molecules for the better studies you’ll find. There is no other way for most people to access this class of chemicals. Due to their high cost, we are the only company willing or able to do this.

Again, welcome to the forum. Despite what anyone says, both you and your skepticism are more than welcome here. This is not a cult. In fact, I need the most realistic, hard nosed feedback possible in order to help these things evolve.

Warmest regards,
Michael

PS – With whatever you get, I’d also be pleased to send you a placebo version of same product without pheromones, so you can perform a small scale study on your own. We can keep it blind, so you don’t know which is which, besides a simple “A” or “B” on the bottle. Just include an order note, and I’ll approve it.

Yes, there is always Kohl.

I question his seemingly envy fueled attacks on Dr. Winifred Cutler, another pheromone researcher, but otherwise, I find both his book and his ability to aggregate data to be top notch. Thanks for posting that link, Carrie!

Quick! OMG, Someone else find a quarter! Stick it in MHarris so he can keep going on about this!

Hi Winger!

I love me some Orange County men. I was an OC girl for nearly half my life!

I know you’re a total sweetheart inside and are just playing devil’s advocate with us to keep us all on our toes. Besides, you hail from the alpha male.co.uk boy’s club. They’re all right in my book. :stuck_out_tongue:

You should have this gift cert any moment now. Sorry I missed you earlier!

Enjoy playing around!

I was blunt in saying “don’t buy is an option” but it is the case that what and how you learn about pheromones is up to you. Also please note that these are not “my products.” As far as I know, only MHarris and Jasmin represent the firm sponsoring this forum (not sure about “Cloud”).

Let’s consider the value of university studies, and assume that we’re only looking at mathematically rigorous statistical studies with p<0.001 significance.
Of the approximately 100,000 university studies conducted each year with p = 0.001, approximately 1,000 have arrived at a conclusion of some kind which was validated in error, by purely accidentally skewed data, despite a rigorous experimental design. The conclusions are wrong, despite the data appearing to support the conclusions.
Now, contrast the value of a university study with a first hand witness statement – plenty of those here. You have to judge the credibility of each, though in different ways. You still make a decision about what evidence you accept.

And finally, you have the option to experiment and risk nothing but the shipping costs, and get direct experience. You calculate your own risk-reward ratios. My point is that all of the studies and internet statements by users here on the forum are nothing more than advice on what to try.

But “don’t buy” is still an option, right?
