Future of Pheromones!

Hey guys,

In all honesty, I’m very new to this pheromone business, but completely passionate about learning more! While I’ve always been a believer, I thought I would take my curiosity to a whole new level. Currently, I’m doing some trend research for the year 2017, and I decided to focus on where the world of pheromones will be by then. What type of products do you think will be out? How else will humans incorporate pheromones (natural or synthetic) into their daily lives?

Please, feel free to share any personal experiences/ideas you have about this topic with me! Also, if any of you are open to doing an email interview, please let me know.

I’m striving to receive first hand professional and person knowledge on any pheromone information you have for me!

Thanks for all of your help! It’s greatly appreciated!

Hi there, and welcome to the forum!

You should post this in the Intro section to get some additional views for new users. You can then get yourself $25 GC to try basically for free, some Androtics commercial line products.

You could try some IO or IShine to really see mones at work in yourself and others around you!

It’s a very interesting question you ask. Currently, the pheromone phenomenon (heh) seems to be a well kept secret. There isn’t an overwhelming amount of solid research into the field and people aren’t generally aware of the fact that they’ve been synthesized for human use.

If solid work is done in this field, I don’t see why pheromones wouldn’t be incorporated into everyday life. It’s been said that some fragrance corporations already incorporate certain pheromones into their products. There would also be other, more creative uses, such as law enforcement and medical. Who knows, perhaps in the future even certain types of pheromones would be banned for being drug-like.

With the rate of expansion of technology, it would blow my mind to even think of the world in 2017 (except I’d still never buy an iPhone, even if it’s the 30th incarnation by then). In doing this project, surely you’d have some expertise in trend research. Could you give a brief insight into what you personally think will happen?

I kind of disagree with you Suit . I think actually there has been a ton of solid research, however what falls far short of the mark is the marketing hype companies hocking their wears are claiming. Now, IMHO, there are many good companies selling good stuff, but there are others not so good ones.

James V Kohl is a treasure trove of knowledge and a pioneer of researching mones. In our very own https://pheromonetalk.com/c/studies-abstracts/50 section you’ll find countless research articles. Also check out our https://pheromonetalk.com/c/pheromone-theory/48 section for deeper mone interactions.

The thing to remember when it is something to do with sex, and pheromones are basic sex signals, than there will always be a preponderance of hype but still real knowledge, real science still exists.

With the current state of affairs of mones and the hype out there we can agree that most of what you will read will be that hype. However a good researcher will always wade through the muck to get to the good stuff. Most of the time the good stuff is on the very bottom of the muck itslef .

There has been a lot of community effort with cleaning up whats real, expected from marketing hype. Lawsuits are pending against the deplorable marketing of some pheromone companies running scams. One such company, not to be named by name, is currently facing a class-action. Its debatable if that company is actually using mones at all.

While mones most likely remain a niche in 2017 it is evidenced by the wisdom of the pheromone enthusiasts and hobbyists that they are indeed coming into their own right. The average user on this forum is 27 years old, University educated, and looking to advance the science rather than just getting laid. Sure we have those too and by all things Pink and Squishy, there is not a thing wrong with that either.

I gave up my iPhone for the Samsung Galaxy S2 and I admit I really like it to a degree. I hate the music options though. Just not a very good music base. I’m actually debating going down to an old flip phone .

Steve, I’m glad to hear what you think on the subject. My assertation on the research into pheromones may well be wrong, and in this case where you’ve been in the industry far longer than I have, I’m certainly willing to concede the point.

I’m curious as to why you think the industry will remain a niche in 2017, however. Considering that some mixes even today are producing consistent results, do you not think that pheromones will enter mainstream use in five years’ time?

I see one factor which may hinder the progress - the fact that people are more likely to keep pheromones a secret. When first discovered, it seems like a treasure to be hoarded and kept out of other hands, not to mention the fear of negative connotations should they be found by friends and family.

I think you will see it more main stream in 5 years. Its already happening however what they will sell mainstream commercially will never equal to the speciality shops like AD.

Products like Dial magnetic, Zest has a line now, Victoria secret had booty call. Got2be hair gel are out there but not very popular.

The issue is pheromones are not one size fits all. Its not just something you can use willy nilly and it works the same for everyone, there is a learning curve that bigger corps dont want to deal with. These companies use minuet amounts of mones in there products and the results are minimal simply because you cant regulate your dosage. So people use them, dont see the results they expect and think this stuff is bogus and move onto the next fad. Corporations dont make money so they discontinue like VS did with booty call.

Then you have a handful of people who get curious and delve a little deeper and stumble upon AD or some other venue that provides more detailed info into how mones work .

Then you have those that fear mones, lack understanding of what they actually do or are just skeptical so they dont pay much mind to it. Change is very often a slow process and so is pheromone technology. You will see more mainstream but it will remain a niche and even in that niche you will see lots of fly by nighters who have very little knowledge of mones or effective quality products to offer simply because they dont have the knowledge or background to really produce or market an effective product or the dedication to teach people to properly use it.

Take pherlure for instance. They were popular for a while but they are slowly petering out because for one there stuff is crap and for two you cant just hand someone a bottle and expect it will fit everyones needs and expectations. Its a niche that needs some form of guidance with it.

I know people expect the technology to move quickly when it comes to pheromones and it is in other sectors or pheromone science. Hell I have pheromnone mosquito traps and my sister has pheromone moth traps for those pests in the kitchen. We even have them for bee’s and I think you will see rapid expansion in pest control pheromones but its going to be a slower transition when it comes to people understanding and excepting the effect on humans.

Its not like this is a new area of science either. Human pheromones have been commercially sold since the 50’s. They have just gotten more effective over the years. Steve and I have been around for 20 some odd years using mones and have seen the strides but its slow going. I dont think any niche company has made more of a contribution to pheromone science then AD personally. I just think they wont come into there own by 2017, its going to be quite a bit longer then that before people truly understand and except pheromonal communication and until then the main stream corps dont want to sink there money into it.

Well that answers it perfectly for my liking and my vote for TOTW. Seriously great answer as expected. Tisha is dead on
