With all the research and studies out there at the moment on pheromones and how/if they work, i wondered what the future holds??
In 2014 will perfumes be created that actually are proven to work??
Will perfumes use this to their advantage in selling you new scents??
How will opinions on pheromones change in five years time??

2014 is only 5 years away, so I don’t think you can expect miracles or huge changes in that short space of time… Research doesn’t work that way, it’s a slow process of testing, re-testing results and challenging hypotheses …
Phero research is hot right now but it’s not a new topic…it’s been around for quite a while 
things can change in five years though.
I just wanted opinions on how things may be different, as everyone is still so sceptical on pheromone perfumes ect.
How many years do you think it will take to develop the research and produce a product that actually may work??
There are already products that work, the findings on this forum validate that. The problem is that if you mention pheromones, people think they are about sex and can’t see past that. Also there are plenty of less than honest companies who sell snake oil without any moral integrity or shred of human decency. Hell, one guy who purports to sell sexy pheromones has recently spent time in prison for selling hallucinogenic substances on the same website!
In my professional area, honesty and integrity are central to my standing. I am proud to be associated with androtics and this forum.
The Future of Pheromones is bright. I believe you will see more acceptance as well as Research over the next 5 years as mones slowly work there way into the mainstream.
The nature channel has had many documentaries on mones lately
Its been seen in various movies which focuses light on the science even though they exaggerated a lot in Oceans 13
Retail stores like Victoria secrets and Sephora have carried them. Not as strong as you would find here but the technology is growing.
Patents are held for a few molecules currently
Companies like Johnson and Johnson have moved into aromatherapy (Baby lavender soothing line) products and have expressed interest in mones.
With in the next 5 years you will see AMMO on retail shelves.
And Pherin Pharmaceuticals is pushing ahead with Veronasal therapy with vomeropherins

I think we will hear a lot more about mones and mone technology in the next 5 years and beyond. It will take a while before its main stream but its heading that way.
Before panic sets in remember you have a great opportunity here being part of androtics testing. At some point the plan is this forum will break off into a research only forum and we will have the opportunity to use cutting edge mones that the general public will not see for years to come. So you still will have a edge on the competition.
