Introductions - New Users, Say "Hello"!

Hi guys, im 21, male, uk.

Came across the site out of curiosity really.

The main thing that interests me most is that ther are so many different products available that you all seem to use.

I would have thought you would only need 2 or 3 basic products, but there seems to be hundreds! Are there that many different types of pheromones?

Also, what do you guys say to the naysayers that say that humans are very unreceptive or sometimes incapable of detecting pheromones?

I know there is a big debate over whether we use our VNO or whether we use our…ogfa… something… (lol) system to detect them.

Hey there, EmperorK, and welcome to the forums! It’s alright to be skeptical… quite a few of the regular users were at first! What made you curious about pheromones in the first place?

As for the different products, there arent QUITE that many yet. :wink: And it may not always be a case of every one having different pheromones, but a case of how MUCH of each pheromone is in each product. Considering that, the possibilities for combination are quite high, yes? Also, women and men have different pheromones for attraction, which ups the ante a bit more, as well. But aside for a few basic pheromones, they keep a pretty tight lid on what is in each product… trade secrets and all.

Now as to the detection of pheromones by humans, i admit that im a bit rusty on the scientific aspects of their use, so i really cant comment on that too much. All i can add is that i have bought several of the products sold here and took a skeptic’s attitude towards them, giving each a rigorous trial process… and for the most part, they worked EXACTLY as described by the store. You have to adjust a bit for your own pheromones, as well as your personality style, but besides that, they did an on-spot job describing them! (and we cant hold them responsible for either of those factors, now can we? :wink:)

If you are still interested in trying one or two products out, i recommend giving a bit more information about yourself, which would qualify you for a $25 gift certifcate to the Smartmones store. What we’d like to know is: what kind of personality do you have? Shy or outgoing? Where would you plan to use pheromones? Work, school, a pub/club, at home? And who would you be interested in affecting with pheromones? Friends, family, co-workers, girls, etc…

Hopefully someone will be along soon to answer the second half of your post! But i hope to hear back about the questions that i asked you. Feel free to read around the forums and look into pheromones more. There is a scientific study section of the forums, for the science of pheromones… just a hint. :roll_eyes:

There are tons of pheromones out there, but so far research has only really “discovered” a few. Most of the consumer products are based around a mix of one primary “known” pheromone with small amounts of others to boost the effect.

Please tell us a little bit about yourself and what you’d like to get out of pheromones, and we can recommend something that will work well for you.

Here’s a rundown:

IO = Alpha Androstenol. Seems to make people cheerful and chatty.
IH = Beta Androstenol. A variation that seems to promote deeper communication.
IShine = TAA. No idea what the real world name is, this one is based around a proprietary discovery by Androtics. Really makes your mood better.
Instant Gentlemen = Androsterone. Kinda status boosting. Makes people respect you.
Turn Up the Heat = Androstenone. Sexual energy and attraction. Makes you appear intimidating.
IFM = Androstadienone. Relaxes women and makes them more comfotable.

Ammo = Androstenone + small amounts of Androsterone and alpha-nol. One of Androtics flagship product, this is more rounded than TUTH.
A314 = Mostly Androsterone with a little bit of everything else thrown in. The other flagship product. A ton of respect. great for work.
Instant Jerk = Instant overdose of androstenone + a few other things to make it even more intimidating. If you want proof that pheromones work, this will prove it to you, but might get you into a brawl along the way.

Beyond that, Androtics is really big on researching new “potentially pheromone compounds.” And the putative line and MX line are composed of the results of this research. These products aren’t really intended for the normal consumer, but experienced users. because the research isn’t all done yet. They might be pheromones at all.

My outlook about naysayers is, I don’t need to convince anyone. If they choose to believe that it doesn’t work, I am at the advantage and they are the ones who are at the disadvantage. Better living through chemistry.

Its ok to be skeptical, we all were at some point. To nay sayers I say to each his own. I am not gonna force them to try something but they usually end up seeing the reactions I get and then want to try it themselves LOL. Mones are a growing technology, everyone has a different opinion on the VNO debate. I personally believe they travel directly to the neurotransmitters via the olfactory system. Science is coming around despite debating exactly how they enter the brain and create signals they do know that certain mones do work and have since each one of our births. It is part of how we bonded with out parents.

The best thing for the skeptic to do is keep a open mind and give it a try and remember just because your unsure why something works doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. :wink:

On your question of are there really that many mones. There are about 7 mainstream mones and hundreds of putative mones. The main stream ones have been proven to cause reactions some by science and some by the users themselves.

The putatives, we test to see what they do here, some work and some dont. But yes there really is alot of them and they do cause reactions. I believe we as humans have become so accustomed and reliant on visual and verbal communication we tend to ignore the basic olfactory senses we were born with. Synthetic mones wake that sense up and remind us there are many ways to communicate with one another.

olfactory! that was the word! new evidence is suggesting that we don’t use the VNO but in fact use the olfactory system.

my personality? hmm that’s a difficult question to put in a few lines on an internet forum.

i’m a thinker i suppose, and i’m the kinda guy who is friendly and cheery to new people, but at the same time i’m not the uber social type that goes out makes loads of friends really fast. i just tend to try hard with the handful of people i do try to talk to. I have just a few friends, but they are good ones. When it comes to girls, I am horribly unsuccessful, yay me! I’m a very slow mover on them and sort of would rather be their friends first before pursuing it further, which as we all know, has the highest potential to be successful, yet 99.9% of the time, is too awkward to get going in the first place, hence my lack of success.

I’m curious about pheromones in general really, and how they really work in the general sense on all levels. I am by no means desperately searching for magical love juice or make friends quick schemes. I’m interested in the psychology and science of it.

I also was wondering about the idea of whether the ones you can buy can be a bit of a placebo in that they will just make you more confident, and it’s the confidence doing the work, as oppose to chemical reactions, or more realistically, a mixture of both. What you guys reckon on that suggestion?

Hmm… I’d have to go with the answer of both, to be 100% honest. Just as when you find a new cologne that you KNOW smells amazing and are wearing it, or are wearing clothes that make you look dashing, it gives a boost to your confidence and you make act slightly different, more daring in your conversations, if you will. Same principle behind knowing you have that extra edge that no one around you knows about, but is still affecting them. :open_mouth:

However, plenty of people can testify here that its not all added confidence. When you are shopping at the grocery store and a women walks by, then suddenly turns around and starts talking to you, confidence probably wasnt the only thing affecting her. But pheromones are subtle… they will do as they say, but cant work miracles.

So, to wrap it up, ima have to go with both.

Well, whenever Tisha comes back through the forums, she’ll look over your post and decide if you gave enough information to get the gift certificate, as well as to give some great advice, par usual. do you guys account for your race and stature when you use this sort of stuff, or is that not considered?

I am 6ft 2.5 and brown… i have long hair … would that make any difference?

Sure would make a difference. I’d go very easy on the Androstenone (ie, TUTH) without social products.

Those are both considerations you must take into account. If you look fairly intimidating to begin with you should avoid using too much of pheromones that add to that intimidation factor.

Some pheromones work better for people of certain races, and it also depends on who you are trying to target. This isn’t really too big a deal for most of the social pheromones, usually it’s none based products that cause trouble. All in all, just try different doses until you find something that works well. Start small and work your way up.

Age is also a concern too. Younger people need less Androstenone.

Even environment is an important consideration. Bars/clubbing it’s generally more acceptable to wear more, going to the grocery store maybe not so much.

It really comes down to personal experimentation. What may work for someone else of the same age/build/race might not work best for you. Don’t be afraid of over dosing it’s good to know what to avoid, and don’t expect steller results right off the bat. The more you use the products, you should be able to figure out where your ideal doses are. If something doesn’t work, Androtics stands behind their products and offers a refund.

Alot of great advice and information in this thread. Nope this is the only place you can get Androtics products at this time. They really are top of the line when it comes to Pheromones so its worth the postage. :wink:

Yes mones can add to your confidence but it dosnt account for all the reactions you get. Once you get into using them you will have what we like to call the “Oh shit moment” It can take a day or two or a week but when it happens you will see it clearly and say “Oh shit this stuff really works” LOL

I suggest AMMO Ishine and one of these three IO IH or CTTM to start out. This will give you a nice balanced arsenal to experiment with.
